COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES | UPPER VALLEY SERVICES

Provides comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other pervasive developmental disorders. Individuals are assigned professional service coordinators who are responsible for clients' Individualized Support Agreements, and for assisting them in achieving success in the community. Services include personal support and case management; specialized residential programs; psychiatric and medical care; vocational and skill acquisition training; family support services; and support services to individuals in nursing homes. Provides a spectrum of supported living arrangements to meet the needs of each person. Clinical services for individuals include provision of a psychiatrist to provide evaluation, medication checks, and after-hours consultation on medication issues. Also provides care coordination services. The Randolph office generally covers western Orange County, but service provision may overlap with the Bradford office area.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT | DAIL - HIREABILITY VERMONT

Helps Vermonters with disabilities to find and keep meaningful employment. HireAbility VT works closely with employment specialists at Supported Employment Programs who provide a wide range of services designed to teach necessary skills, help a person transition into a job, and ensure that employers meet the needs of their employees. Typically, support is gradually withdrawn as natural supports are developed on the job and as the individual becomes more and more self-sufficient.

WAY2WORK PROGRAM | CHAMPLAIN COMMUNITY SERVICES

Assists individuals with skills assessment and training related to career development goals. The program also assists with finding paid employment that meets the needs of both the employer and employee. Champlain Community Services (CCS) is certified to serve all of Vermont. CCS offers training to schools, and agencies serving people with development disabilities.

Assists individuals in finding or maintaining employment of their own choice. Services for finding employment include career exploration, aptitude testing, counseling and guidance, transition services for students, vocational training, small business development, technology, and education. Services for maintaining employment include jobsite evaluation, adaptive equipment, low vision services, and support.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES | GREEN MOUNTAIN SUPPORT SERVICES

Provides pre-employment assessment, on the job training, and vocational support to individuals eligible for developmental services. Agency is located at the end of Professional Drive. Main office is located in the back of the building on the lower level. Employment Support Services provided to the clients served within GMSS can access the Employment Support offices by appointment on the upper level by following the signs and ramp in the front of the building on the right hand side of the main entrance.
