Offers resources to help find treatment for eating disorders

Provides occasional nursing and rehabilitative therapies in the patient's home. Skilled Nursing Services include nursing care, case management, and client and family education. Provides clients with social workers who offer coordination of community services and resources, client and family counseling, and navigating the health care system. Licensed Nursing Assistants provide home health assistance, including personal care assistance, light housekeeping, and help with normal daily living activities.

Provides counseling and advice on planning, launching, managing, and growing a small business. Services include financial assistance through loan guarantees, minority business development, and counseling and advice to veterans and deployed military. Online courses, webinars, and in-person presentations are also available.

Works with households to resolve emergencies involving home heat and electrical disconnection notices using programs and funds available and helping with applications. Electric heat assistance is limited to households with primary heat source of electricity or electricity that is essential to keeping other types of heating systems operational. The Wood Warms Program provides two free cords of wood to eligible households that heat entirely with wood or that supplement their primary heat source by burning wood.

Provides on demand service without program guidelines. Passengers can request trips to anywhere in the designated service area for any reason, including shopping, medical, lunch, beauty shop, or to visit a friend. Offers RCT Rides, a mobile app for scheduling rides.

Accepted batteries include alkaline batteries (such as AA, AAA, 9V, D-cell, C-cell, button cell, etc), rechargeable batteries, e-bike batteries, and Lithium batteries, such as those found in e-cigarettes. Cell phones can also be recycled.

Provides low-interest rehabilitation loans and grants to make essential repairs on homes in order to eliminate health, safety and/or accessibility issues. Home repair assistance also may include technical support, home maintenance workshops, special grants, home inspection, assistance in creating job specifications and finding estimates, and ongoing project support.

Provides a full range of supportive services for individuals with a limited life expectancy, and their families. Also provides comprehensive Palliative and support care to individuals in need of pain and other symptom management whether or not they have a life limiting illness.

Offers adult education and literacy instruction that provide learners with the opportunity to acquire the education and literacy skills they need either to complete a secondary education or to better achieve post-secondary/career goals. Works to reduce the over-population of unwanted cats by stabilizing barn cat colonies and reducing the number of free-roaming cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Organizes humane trapping of unowned and loosely owned cats from farms, outbuildings, and the streets; provides spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and needed medical care; and returns them to their original environment or partners with other agencies that place adoptable animals in appropriate homes. Also provides periodic spay/neuter clinics.

Provides information, guidance, benefit computations, and Workers' Compensation coverage compliance. The Workers' Compensation system is a "no-fault" insurance program that provides medical and disability benefits for work-related injuries and illnesses. It covers both traumatic injuries caused by sudden accidents and gradual onset injuries resulting from repetitive motion or stress. The system offers five basic categories of benefits: medical, temporary disability, permanency, vocational rehabilitation, and death benefits.

Works in partnership with Opportunities Credit Union, EastRise Credit Union and NeighborWorks of Western Vermont on affordable financing for energy improvements.

Enforces federal and state statutes and regulations in order to assure the safety and well-being of persons who are elderly or disabled. Receives and investigates complaints about providers of health care services. Licenses and provides information to the general public about health care facilities and services such as nursing homes, residential care homes, hospitals and home health care.

Provides shelter and care for surrendered and stray animals, including dogs, cats, and other small furry pets. Facilitates pet adoptions, matching shelter animals with appropriate households. Also offers low-cost microchip clinics, volunteer opportunities, dog training, and educational programs on pet care.

Notifies participating utility companies of an individual's or a business's plans to dig near utility lines, in order to avoid utility service disruption. Utility companies will then come to the site and mark utility lines before digging begins.

Provides shelter; medical treatment; and other basic care for stray and surrendered animals, including dogs, cats, and other small pets. Facilitates adoption of shelter animals, matching pets with the most appropriate households. Helps reduce feline overpopulation through a trap/neuter/return program for free-roaming (feral) cats. Provides a Foster Care Program that includes food and supplies for foster care volunteers caring for pregnant cats and dogs, animals recovering from minor surgery, and animals in extreme stress in the shelter environment. Survivor-directed services may include safety planning, emotional support, assistance in obtaining emergency relief from abuse orders, hospital emergency room support, assistance in finding emergency shelter, advocacy for legal, financial, medical, and housing issues, and community resource referrals.

Provides telephone reassurance, check-in, and friendly phone calls to area seniors or disabled adults who are in need of someone to touch base with them to ensure their well-being.
