Provides comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other pervasive developmental disorders. Individuals are assigned professional service coordinators who are responsible for clients' Individualized Support Agreements, and for assisting them in achieving success in the community. Services include personal support and case management; specialized residential programs; psychiatric and medical care; vocational and skill acquisition training; family support services; and support services to individuals in nursing homes. Provides a spectrum of supported living arrangements to meet the needs of each person. Clinical services for individuals include provision of a psychiatrist to provide evaluation, medication checks, and after-hours consultation on medication issues. Also provides care coordination services.

Receives and sells items no longer needed by state government, including office furniture, computers and related equipment, vehicles, and a variety of other items. Sells vehicles by auction.

Provides a wide range of health and wellness, recreational, youth development and family development programs including classes, and recreational activities. Also provides age-appropriate fitness programs for seniors, child care services, leadership development opportunities, summer camps, and parent-child programs.

Assists individuals seeking to improve their money management skills in monthly bill paying, debt reduction, savings and credit reports and credit repair. The process generally involves analysis of the individual's income, expenses, debts, taxes and other factors to create a personal financial assessment and development of a budget for basic living expenses. Also offers workshops that address a wide variety of money management issues including banking services, consumer credit lending, and debt consolidation/repayment.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations. .

Offers ongoing support groups. Groups provide emotional support, information, and resources to help participants process and heal from their experiences.

Provides a voluntary program for youth who have received a civil violation for underage drinking or possession of alcohol, or a civil violation for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. The program consists of a substance abuse assessment, screening, an education program, and community service.

Provides a broad selection of recreational opportunities and leisure time activities.

Provides monthly supplemental nutrition assistance benefits to low-income households to purchase food. Households in which any person is younger than 65 access their benefit using a Vermont Express electronic benefits transfer (EBT) debit card. If everyone in a household is 65 or older, or receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI), benefits are deposited as cash into the recipient's bank account. Expedited benefits are available in emergencies and other specific situations. EBT cards may also be used to buy fresh, local products at certain farmers' markets in Vermont. In addition, 3SquaresVT benefits may be used for seeds and plants that grow fruit and vegetables at any retailer or farmer's market that accepts EBT cards.
