Job seekers can access computers, educational resources, and information on employers. Training and pre-job assistance services include ICAN, which pairs qualified individuals with an employment coordinator to assist them with resources, support services, job readiness skills, case management, and job placement.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations.

Investigates claims of unlawful discrimination in housing, places of public accommodation, and state government employment. A place of public accommodation is any school, restaurant, store, establishment or other facility at which services, facilities, goods, privileges, advantages, benefits or accommodations are offered to the general public. This also includes most hospitals, professional offices (such as doctors, dentists, lawyers, and accountants), retail stores, inns, hotels, and schools. The Commission does not represent or advocate for either the individual who makes the complaint (complaintant) or the individual or entity against whom a petition is filed (respondent). If the Commission accepts a case for investigation, it may provide an independent mediator to seek an informal resolution to the dispute. If mediation does not result in a mutually agreed upon resolution, a member of the Commission's staff will investigate. The Commission does not provide legal advice. The complaintant and respondent may have attorneys to advise and represent them throughout the process, but an attorney is not required.

Provides telephone and face-to-face crisis intervention services for individuals whose emotional distress may range in severity from difficulty in coping with daily stress to the crisis of a psychotic episode. Enhanced Mobile Crisis Services provide rapid mobile response for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis. A trained 2-person team can meet the individual at home, workplace, or another community setting, providing support and comfort including safety plans, peer support, care coordination and follow up and, if needed, temporary overnight accommodation.

Provides nurses and/or other trained professionals who visit the homes of women during pregnancy and after childbirth to help the women improve their personal health and development during the prenatal period and learn to care for their infant. Services include at-home assessments for expectant mothers and infants, postpartum assessments, newborn evaluations, breastfeeding support, nutrition education, parenting information, family adjustment support, skilled nursing care if needed, and assistance with coordination of family services.

Provides comprehensive medical care to individuals of all ages including physical exams, immunizations, and routine screenings, treatment of short-term injuries or illnesses, treatment of chronic illnesses, care for women during pregnancy and childbirth, family planning services, nutritional counseling, physical therapy, and other special programs. Pediatric primary care is staffed by specialists who are concerned with the physical, emotional and social health of infants, children and adolescents from birth to young adulthood.

Provides business counseling and technical assistance to individuals who are starting, expanding, or enhancing a small business. Services include one-on-one technical assistance in business plan development, marketing materials, and financial management.

Provides financial assistance to help Green Mountain Power (GMP) customers pay their bill when they have received a disconnect notice. Part of the bill will be paid by the program, and payment arrangements will be made for the balance.

Also provides a Trap, Neuter, Release program (TNR) that aids farmers and others who willingly care for unowned cats in barns and other outbuildings, by trapping, vaccinating, spaying or neutering, and treating (if necessary), and then returning cat(s) back to their colony (group) in the wild or barn.

Offers Vermont high school students the opportunity to enroll full time at any of CCV’s 12 locations during the fall and spring of their senior year for a combined total of 8-10 classes (24+ credits). Credits apply to both high school completion and college. Classes may be online or in-person.

Provides a vanpooling vehicle for a group of people who share a similar commute and schedule. Go! Vermont, in partnership with "Commute with Enterprise," will provide a van or SUV, for which each rider pays a low monthly fee, covering costs like gas, insurance, and repairs. Riders can take turns driving and can keep the van at a rider's home. Also offers a Businesses Guide for companies that want to offer vanpools as a staff benefit.

Provides Peer Support, a service delivery distinct from traditional mental health services. The Pathways Vermont Peer Support Center is staffed by trained individuals who identify as having lived experience with issues such as mental health crises, trauma, substance use, and homelessness. Currently offerd flexible individual peer support services, meeting one-on-one with folks in person or remotely. Also offer in-person and virtual support groups.

Provides free soup for Brattleboro residents. Volunteers are invited to help prepare soup and/or package freeze-dried soup and can sign up online to volunteer.

Provides a safe, stable drug and alcohol-free home and supportive services with the goal of helping residents to transition to independent living and reassimilation into communities. The home environment is "family-style" where residents support one another in their recovery and cooperate to manage the household.

Provides educational support services to children and youth of families that relocate to Vermont in order to obtain seasonal or temporary employment in agriculture. These services may include free books, tutoring, homework support, English as a Second Language (ESL) support, summer programs, and referrals to local resources.

Provides transportation services to non-Medicaid medical appointments, meal sites, senior centers, wellness programs, drug stores, social activities, and other healthy living related activities. Offers volunteer driving opportunities.

Provides legal services to individuals who are at risk of losing their homes due to financial hardship. Also helps with estate planning and legal assistance to heirs who need help getting the deed to the home they inherited.
