Provides youth employment services that include vocational testing and assessment to help identify skills, talents and experience; career guidance to help plan and map out a career strategy; tutoring and study skills training; summer employment opportunities; paid work experience including internships and job shadowing; leadership development opportunities; and support services to help overcome employment barriers.

Provides services that fall under two main umbrellas with support from the prenatal period through high school graduation, with the goal of facilitating success and well-being across a lifetime. The first set of services are part of the Parent Child Center that provides expertise on prevention and early intervention services such as parenting, early childhood development, education, referral, and related services to prospective parents and families with young children, including those whose children are medically, socially, or educationally at risk. These programs serve children in the prenatal stage to age 6. School Based Services range from preventive models supporting school-wide systems, to providing lower-intensity clinical care, to small group or one on one behavior support, to an alternative educational environment at the Soar Learning Center.

Provides ongoing family support to all military personnel and families. Operates as a one-stop service center which provides assistance, information and referral to other agencies and organizations that assist service members and their families in both the military and civilian sectors. Services include emergency assistance, education and training, Tricare and insurance issues, ID cards, family care plans, counselor support, employer support, financial, family advocacy, legal property and household issues, reintegration and adjustment concerns.

Provides outreach to victims of crime with community-based emotional support and resource navigation .Offers outreach to victims of low-level crimes for a restorative response. Victims in these cases are contacted and offered ways to participate in whatever way is comfortable for them. Offers options for victims to meet with those who have offended against them to ask questions and talk about the impact of the incident on themselves and others.

Provides shelter for animals who have been abandoned, abused or surrendered by their owners. Services include animal adoption, pet food pantry, spay/neuter services, community education about pet care, and reporting of cruelty and neglect of animals to local authorities.

Maintains an online community calendar providing information about parent/child activities, family entertainment, special events, and ideas for family fun in northern Vermont. Calendar listings include weekend events, after-school activities, camps, festivals, story times and much more. Maintains listing of doula services.

Administers the registration and title of all motor vehicles. Issues Vermont license plates. Issues Vermont Driver Licenses, Commercial Driver Licenses, School Bus Driver Licenses, and Motorcycle Driver Licenses. Provides driver training information and issues ID (Non-driver) cards and Learner Permits. Provides school bus driver training information and administers scheduling for driver's license exams. Issues Foreign and International Licenses.

Assists individuals with regaining their licenses while they are paying off fines and fees. Program participants work with diversion staff to develop contracts that include a payment plan. Contracts must be approved by the Vermont Judicial Board and the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Provides fast track medical services to individuals who have minor medical problems that do not require complex diagnostic work, including colds, flu, infections, muscle strains and sprains, cuts, insect stings and bites, rashes and stomachaches. Services include common immunizations, sports and school physicals, lab testing and x-rays.

Provides one-on-one instruction, as well as instruction in group settings. All instruction is student centered and strength based. Tutoring supplements the regular school program and may be provided at community education centers, school facilities, student homes and town public facilities, or an appropriate site selected by the student's parent/guardian.

Provides safe, confidential, temporary emergency shelter and supportive services.

Provides education and support, including support of individual developmental goals, and transition planning for services after early intervention. Coaches families and early care and education providers around individual child supports.

Provides a monthly cash benefit to qualified workers unable to work for a year or more because of a disability. Also offers a process to file an appeal.

Provides a program that empowers Vermonters to lead healthier lives through hands-on nutrition education. The Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is usually a six-session series held in home, school, or community settings. An online nutrition education series, Eat Smart, Move More, is also offered and participants can access lessons at their own pace while receiving one-on-one support from their closest EFNEP Educator via phone calls, zoom meetings, and emails. Topics covered may include meal planning and preparation, food budgeting with a limited income, food safety and preservation, and nutrition tips.

Provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient care and 24-hour emergency care. Services include 24-hour physician staffed emergency room services, diagnostic imaging, general medical and surgical services, lab testing, blood supply services, hospital-based outpatient services, disease specific treatment, pain management, adult and children's services. Dartmouth Health is a Level One Trauma Center.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations.

Provides public awareness and education to promote community wellness and to prevent the misuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, with an emphasis on youth substance use prevention. Collaborates with other wellness programs, schools, and communities to help them promote healthy behaviors and reduce health risks.

Provides low-cost clothing and miscellaneous small household items.

Helps Vermonters with disabilities to find and keep meaningful employment. HireAbility VT works closely with employment specialists at Supported Employment Programs who provide a wide range of services designed to teach necessary skills, help a person transition into a job, and ensure that employers meet the needs of their employees.

Provides formal supervision of offenders released conditionally on probation or parole or confined to their homes or other venues in the community.

Provides a free and anonymous syringe exchange program. Program distributes new syringes and disposes of used syringes, safer use supplies, naloxone, wound care kits, fentanyl test strips, and overdose prevention education.

Provides a crisis intervention program that offers face-to-face recovery coaching to individuals admitted to Mount Ascutney Hospital and Health Center and Springfield Medical Center Emergency Departments.

Provides a fixed-schedule commuter route between the Park & Rides in Springfield, Ascutney, and Hartland, the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, Dartmouth College Green in Hanover, NH, and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH.

Provides comprehensive medical care to individuals of all ages including physical exams, immunizations, and routine screenings, treatment of short-term injuries or illnesses, treatment of chronic illnesses, care for women during pregnancy and childbirth, family planning services, nutritional counseling, physical therapy, and other special programs. Provides preventive health care, as well as diagnosis and treatment of illness in children, adolescents and adults. Services include primary medical care such as physical health examinations, immunizations, acute and chronic health screenings, obstetric care, laboratory testing, and birth control counseling. Provides onsite integrated health services to enhance access to appropriate prevention, treatment, recovery and wellness services and activities. Pediatric primary care is staffed by specialists who are concerned with the physical, emotional and social health of infants, children and adolescents from birth to young adulthood.
