Eligible projects include cold-climate heat pumps; central wood pellet heating systems; cord wood and pellet stoves; heat pump water heaters; solar hot water; and weatherization improvements. Health and safety measures and repairs needed for the efficiency improvement can constitute up to 50% of the total loan amount. Zero-percent interest financing is available for low to moderate-income approved applicants.

Eligible persons choose where to receive their services - in their home, their family’s home, an Adult Family Care Home, Enhanced Residential Care, or nursing facility. Enhanced residential care services include nursing overview, personal care, medication management, social and recreational activities, 24-hour on-site supervision, laundry services, household services, transportation, meals, and case management.

Advocates for the development of programs and services for park residents, and provides workshops and training on various mobile home park issues.

Inspects and licenses pet sellers, livestock dealers, transporters, and packers. Registers animal shelters, rescue organizations, certified euthanasia technicians, and their facilities. Provides a way to file a report about poultry and other domestic birds that died from a disease. Also publishes information about various diseases that affect livestock and poultry.

Provides information about poison emergencies, as well as information about poisons and poison prevention, medication information for older adults, substance abuse information and other drug-related information, and poison information for pets. Also provides educational programs and materials including animals poison and work place safety for poison control.

The first set of services are part of the Parent Child Center that provides expertise on prevention and early intervention services such as parenting, early childhood development, education, referral, and related services to prospective parents and families with young children, including those whose children are medically, socially, or educationally at risk. These programs serve children in the prenatal stage to age 6. School Based Services range from preventive models supporting school-wide systems, to providing lower-intensity clinical care, to small group or one on one behavior support, to an alternative educational environment at the Soar Learning Center.
