Drop-In Center open during administrative hours with access to laundry machines, showers, hygiene products, phone/computer and a temperature-controlled environment. Additional shelter services and hours are available depending on extreme weather and staffing. Allows well-behaved pets.

VPIRG is also the lead advocacy agency for accuracy in labeling, requiring clear and specific disclosure of all ingredients, including genetically modified organisms (GMOs), that go into the production of food being sold in Vermont.

Provides funding which includes assistance for utility shut-offs, security deposits, back rent, fuel assistance, car repairs for vehicles needed for work and/or medical appointments and livability-related home repairs for veterans who are homeowners. Also provides consultations and support for eligibility for State and Federal Benefits and low-cost drug manufacturer discount programs.

Offers an opportunity to obtain a high school diploma from the public school the Veteran initially atttended.

Offers a treatment program for adults in need of intensive psychiatric care who do not require inpatient hospitalization. Programs provide a therapeutic environment for individuals who have acute or chronic mental or emotional disturbances, who do not require full-time hospital care but who can benefit from a structured environment for some portion of the day or week. Services may include individual, group and/or family therapy; social and recreational activities; and a range of adjunctive therapies.

Facilitates professional case management for individuals in need of mental health or substance abuse services. Services are provided in the privacy of their homes and both individual and family counseling are available.

Maintains a phone line and website dedicated to connecting commuters to alternative transportation modes such as carpooling, vanpooling, and mass transit. Also provides information about state-operated Park & Ride locations, as well as a link to locations of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. In addition, provides information about becoming a volunteer driver at participating local transit agencies.

Provides money management counseling services that include credit counseling, debt counseling, personalized budgeting, student loan counseling, bankruptcy counseling, and financial literacy training.
