Provides telephone and face-to-face crisis intervention services for individuals whose emotional distress may range in severity from difficulty in coping with daily stress to the crisis of a psychotic episode. Enhanced Mobile Crisis Services provide rapid mobile response for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis. A trained 2-person team can meet the individual at home, workplace, or another community setting, providing support and comfort including safety plans, peer support, care coordination and follow up and, if needed, temporary overnight accommodation.

Administers a network of state service programs that engage volunteers, both full and part-time, to serve in nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and faith-based organizations. Members' services may include opportunities to tutor and mentor young people, build affordable housing, teach computer skills, clean parks and streams, run after-school programs, and help communities respond to disasters

Offers a state-approved therapeutic day treatment and special education program for grades K-8. The program operates during the regular Rutland County school calendar. A summer program is also available.

Offers adult education and literacy instruction that provides learners with the opportunity to acquire the education and literacy skills they need either to complete a secondary education or to better achieve post-secondary/career goals. Instruction is provided at six learning centers, as well as at job sites, libraries, and other locations. Provides a webpage that explains how to get each type of passport. The four types are: Routine, Expedited, Urgent Travel, and Emergency. Emergency passports are available for life-or-death situations. Urgent travel passports are available for other emergency situations.

Provides bereavement support groups that serve as a source of help, compassion, and understanding for families and individuals who have had a loved one pass as a result of substance abuse or addiction.

Offers a series of health-related workshops and presentations for the community, many of which are offered by health professionals. Information about local wellness programs is provided on line and is also published in flyer form. Topics may include movement and exercise, nutrition, childbirth education, chronic disease self-management, and health/disease specific support group meetings.

Provides fixed-route public bus transportation with routes that include a Dartmouth Downtown Shuttle, a Dartmouth Health Medical Center Shuttle, and nine additional routes connecting the Upper Valley communities of Hartford and Norwich in Vermont and Hanover, Lebanon, Enfield, and Canaan in New Hampshire. A commuter bus is available, transporting riders from Enfield and Canaan to Lebanon in New Hampshire.

Provides Work Incentives Counselors who can help individuals decide whether to work, keep necessary benefits while they work, and avoid work/benefits conflicts. The program is also available to youth in high school who are in transition to adult life. Youth and their families can receive accurate information about the impact of employment on all Federal and State benefits they receive. Provides the Vermont Work/Benefits Helpline.

Provides community-based supports to assist youth with successful transition to adulthood. Provides youth not sleeping at home services that include provision of shelter homes while team intervention helps to resolve issues of conflict or stress. Offers intensive support programs to facilitate skills development in community-based and home settings. Respite Services provide hourly and overnight mentoring and supervision to enhance family functioning. Emergency overnight respite alleviates stressors impacting client and family functioning.

Provides youth employment services that include vocational testing and assessment to help identify skills, talents and experience; career guidance to help plan and map out a career strategy; tutoring and study skills training; summer employment opportunities; paid work experience including internships and job shadowing; leadership development opportunities; and support services to help overcome employment barriers.

Provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient care and 24-hour emergency care. Services include 24-hour physician staffed emergency room services, diagnostic imaging, general medical and surgical services, lab testing, blood supply services, hospital-based outpatient services, disease specific treatment, pain management, adult and children's services.
