Offers the services of Certified Recovery Coaches/Peer support specialist, who work both one-on-one with people on all paths to recovery to help them plan and make positive improvement in their lives, as well as with their families. Assists families in stabilizing finances during temporary emergencies, when all other resources have been exhausted or the family has been found ineligible for services. Funding is limited to $200 per family. Funds are paid directly to the vendor/business, not to the individual. Expenses may be prepaid with prior approval and then reimbursed through this fund.

Provides information about alcohol and drug use; the effects on individuals, families and communities; as well as information for the public about strategies for prevention and early intervention.

Provides comprehensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment services that include substance use disorder counseling, medication-assisted treatment, integrated medical and behavioral services, treatment and counseling for individuals with co-occurring disorders, and psychiatric medication management.

Provides professional development training for early care and education providers to learn about children’s language and early literacy development and fun, instructive, and engaging ways to share books with children. Participants receive free books suitable for use with newborns, toddlers and preschoolers. Programs are conducted statewide by experienced early childhood professionals.

Provides information and resources for addressing environmental dangers and concerns for air, land, waste, and water areas. Offers portal to report environmental violations and hazards.

Offers a series of health-related workshops and presentations for the community, many of which are offered by health professionals. Information about local wellness programs is provided on line and is also published in flyer form. Topics can include movement and exercise, nutrition, childbirth education, chronic disease self-management, and health/disease specific support group meetings.
