Supports the successful re-entry into the community of people released from incarceration through Circles of Support and Accountability (COSAs). COSAs are made up of citizen volunteers who work with participants to help them learn to manage the challenges of everyday life, be accountable for their actions and become responsible community members. Volunteer coordinators may help establish links to employment, housing, transportation, and benefit programs.

Provides an interactive Legal Help Tool that guides visitors through a series of statements to focus on the legal problem and find the information they need. Provides self-help and resource information on issues such as bankruptcy, housing, eviction, public benefits, family law, elder law, disability rights, health care, and more. Provides an online directory of legal resources and know-your-rights information. Provides answers about Vermont law and Vermont courts. Also provides access to sample letters and legal forms.

Offers food, clothes, and toiletries for take out.

Provides a volunteer-run shelter for abandoned or unwanted pets and provides secure placement of the animals in permanent adoptive homes. Offers monthly Spay ASAP low-cost spay/neuter clinic for cats and spaying services for dogs by appointment to income-eligible pet owners.

Provides home entry and bathroom accessibility modifications. Offers financial assistance for nonprofit housing providers for accessibility modifications in their affordable rental housing.

Provides a range of programs for fathers, including drop-on to connect with other dads or get support from staff while enjoying coffee and snacks (Dads' Drop-in), a playgroup and dinner for dads and their children (Dads' Night), and individualized case management to help fathers work towards goals around parenting, getting basic needs met, and navigating systems (Dads Matter Case Management).

Provides direct mental health and substance use disorder services via private, non-profit service providers, called Designated Agencies (DAs), located in each region. DAs offer prevention services to reduce risk factors and increase resiliency and protective factors for children and youth at risk for serious mental health needs, as well as their families. Also provides intervention and treatment services.

Provides free college courses for Vermont Department of Corrections (DOC) staff and Vermonters who are incarcerated, including textbooks and fees.

Provides one-on-one instruction, as well as instruction in group settings. All instruction is student centered and strength based. Tutoring supplements the regular school program and may be provided at community education centers, school facilities, student homes and town public facilities, or an appropriate site selected by the student's parent/guardian.

Provides non-emergency assistance such as transportation, errand running, companionship, friendly telephoning, and a welcome baby program, referrals for a repair person or other services, or information. Marlboro Cares can also make referrals to other agencies, and offers educational programs on occasion.

Provides Alco Sensor/Breathalyzer testing services. Each test result is recorded and the participant must sign a form acknowledging results.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations. Offers ingredients for a full dinner at Thanksgiving.

Provides volunteer opportunities for individuals to serve one-on-one with frail elderly and other homebound persons who have difficulty completing everyday tasks. They might assist with grocery shopping, bill paying, and transportation to medical appointments, and alert doctors and family members to potential problems. Senior Companions also provide short periods of relief to primary caregivers.

Provides a noon meal as well as a dessert, and breakfast is served on Sundays.

Promotes volunteerism and provides assistance with finding volunteer opportunities within the community, Provides an online volunteer match/referral service where individuals who would like to volunteer in their communities can find a listing of opportunities and where agencies and organizations seeking volunteers can post volunteer opportunities. During times of regional disasters or emergencies provides information intended to help everyone in their communities get to the resources they need quickly and efficiently.

Provides a telephone and/or face-to-face response to individuals in crisis. This service offers an immediate intervention and suicide prevention response by mental health counselors and connects individuals to resources that best fit the needs of their particular situations. Within the First Call program there are specialized services such as crisis case management, crisis respite, support services when a tragic event impacts a child, as well as Safety Net, an urgent response service for families impacted by incarceration. First Call also provides education, support, and "Gatekeeper Training" to community providers to promote prompt and appropriate response to mental health crises.

Administers the registration and title of all motor vehicles. Issues Vermont license plates. Issues Vermont Driver Licenses, Commercial Driver Licenses, School Bus Driver Licenses, and Motorcycle Driver Licenses. Provides driver training information and issues ID (Non-driver) cards and Learner Permits. Provides school bus driver training information and administers scheduling for driver's license exams. Issues Foreign and International Licenses.

Offers a series of health-related workshops and presentations for the community, many of which are offered by health professionals. Information about local wellness programs is provided on line and is also published in flyer form. Topics include movement and exercise, nutrition, childbirth education, car seat safety, chronic disease self-management, and health/disease specific support group meetings.

Provides preventive health care, as well as diagnosis and treatment of illness in children, adolescents and adults.

Promotes and supports the implementation of effective evidence-based suicide prevention, intervention, and post intervention programs and strategies in schools, communities, and Vermont institutions of higher education.

Provides confidential, client-directed assistance in gaining information and access to government and community programs, including housing, transportation, Meals on Wheels, congregate meals, 3SquaresVT (food stamps), Medicaid, health-care insurance, rebates, adult day services, hoarding issues, and mental health services. Options Counseling is also available to enable older adults to maintain independence. Maintains a regional listing of in-home assistance providers available to assist seniors with continuing to live independently at home.
