Provides primary police services for approximately 200 Vermont towns out of 10 barracks throughout the state. Troopers perform traditional police services of traffic enforcement and the investigation of crimes, and also enforce snowmobile and recreational boating laws.

Offers adult education and literacy instruction that provides learners with the opportunity to acquire the education and literacy skills they need either to complete a secondary education or to better achieve post-secondary/career goals. Provides onsite coordinated primary care, mental health services, and substance abuse services to enhance access to appropriate prevention, treatment, recovery and wellness services and activities. Programs for health maintenance and public health awareness services are also offered.

Helps families with children by providing case management services that support work, training and education, and cash grants for basic necessities. Reach Up helps with identifying skills, abilities, interests, training or education needs, preparation for work, childcare costs, transportation costs, and work-related costs such as clothing, tools, and supplies. Each person on Reach Up works with a case manager to create a Family Development Plan. Benefits paid through direct deposit or EBT card. Child-Only Reach Up provides cash assistance to help eligible adults care for the minor, dependent children of relatives or family friends. Reach First helps families overcome temporary, short-term financial crises and avoid the need for longer-term assistance, providing case management, financial help, and support services. Reach Ahead helps families transition from Vermont's Reach Up or Post-Secondary Education (PSE) programs to working, with supports to help maintain a job, including cash incentives for working and help paying for car repairs, work clothes, and work supplies, a 100% childcare subsidy, and a cash benefit for food.

Maintains an online community calendar providing information about parent/child activities, family entertainment, special events, and ideas for family fun in northern Vermont. Calendar listings include weekend events, after-school activities, camps, festivals, story times and much more. Maintains listing of doula services.

Offers secondary school students the opportunity to earn up to 6 college credits while still enrolled in high school. Classes may be online or in-person.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations. .

Provides a lending service of durable medical equipment, including walkers, crutches, canes, shower chairs, and commodes. Other daily living aids may also be available.

Hears appeals of decisions by the Agency of Natural Resources including state land use permit decisions and state environmental permits. Also hears appeals from municipal land use zoning and planning decisions, as well as municipal land use enforcement cases, and enforcement actions brought by the Agency of Natural Resources and Natural Resources Board.

Provides hands-on learning opportunities to teach skills that promote success in life. Young people can join a 4-H club, Cloverbud, special interest, or school enrichment group. Activities include project learning, community service, and recreational activities.

Provides comprehensive and coordinated long term care in an individual's home. Services include case/care management, homemaker assistance, and assistance with the activities of daily living. Also provides Medicaid Waiver, community-based one-to-one long term care services to individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Administers the Meals on Wheels program. Registers and enrolls eligible individuals for meals and coordinates delivery schedules with volunteers. Meals are fully cooked and delivered refrigerated for reheating. Special diets are accommodated.

Provides a range of services designed to stabilize children and families and promote children's successful adjustment in the community. Offers outpatient services, respite care, therapeutic case management, school-based services and support, crisis residential services, child psychiatry, specialized foster care, and consultation. Also includes a text line for individuals who prefer not to call.

Services include well-woman exams, contraception, pregnancy and delivery services, pregnancy and childbirth education, as well as breastfeeding and post-partum support services. Provides nursing and rehabilitative therapies in the patient's home. Skilled Nursing Services include nursing care, case management, and client and family education. Provides clients with social workers who offer coordination of community services and resources, client and family counseling, and navigating the health care system. Licensed Nursing Assistants provide home health assistance, including personal care assistance, light housekeeping, and help with normal daily living activities.

Provides a full range of dentistry services including: preventive, restorative, extractions, crown and bridge, periodontal services and minor implant restorations.

Provides assistance and education to protect consumers from financial fraud, and offers help with filing complaints. Regulates state-chartered banks, credit unions, and lenders, and can answer related questions and concerns. Provides information about mortgage assistance programs, approved reverse mortgage counselors, and foreclosure filing. Also enables consumers to check to see if their lender is licensed.

Offers ongoing one-to-one programs and summer camps that reconnect youth with the skills and values of Vermont’s traditional working landscape. Activities may include classical horsemanship, the arts, gardening, and sustainable agricultural practices. Participants build confidence and social skills as they learn about the work and play of a working beef and horse farm.

Provides a wide range of mental health services for teens, young adults, and their families. Services offered include: Individual, Family, Group, and Couples Therapy; Psychological Evaluations; Trauma Evaluations, Consultations and In-Service Trainings (DCF, Schools and Educators; Treatment Teams, Mental Health Providers, Other); and Clinical Supervision (Individual and Group).
