Shelter: Single Adults 18 and Older from any location; Persons on probation may apply; Individuals on parole, or charged with or convicted of a violent or sexual offense are not eligible to apply; No drugs or alcohol allowed. Showers: Open to All persons who are homeless

Fees

Free for first 14 days if resident is not employed or receiving benefits, small fixed fee thereafter. Residents who are employed or on benefits pay small fixed fee from day one. Small fee for anyone who receives SSI, SSDI. Veterans come in through a VA program if they have honorable discharge and served at least 2 years active duty in the military (including Guard). Veterans who have served at least one day before 1982 are also eligible.

Description

Provides overnight shelter for men and women. Offers case management and life skills program, laundry, and referrals for education, medical treatment, and mental health services. Shelter clients may be eligible for transitional housing. Open Door Mission is a participant in the Veterans Shelter Project. Shower facilities are available to any homeless person .
