Administers a six-week work opportunity program for employers and job seekers to work together toward a successful job match. In return for reduced payroll expenses, the employer agrees to provide training and support to the incoming worker. During the assessment period the employer pays only the hourly wage. At the completion of the six-week training and assessment period, if the match is successful, the employer adds the worker to the regular payroll. Services to job seekers include providing information about employment rights, accommodations, and resources; job skills training, and job search assistance. Services to businesses include providing education and awareness of issues involved in working with individuals who have disabilities, job assessment for accommodations, help in strategizing ways to retain employees who become disabled while in their employ, and consultation on job descriptions, interview techniques, and other employment areas in which disability issues arise.

Provides connection to contracted private homes for individuals in need of shared living arrangements to remain in their communities. Provides comprehensive, coordinated long-term care for individuals that have been matched with private home providers. Services include case/care management, homemaker assistance and assistance with the activities of daily living, including personal care and respite care that enables senoirs and individuals with permanent disabilities to live safely, comfortably and as independently as possible at home.

Provides three specific, home-delivered meals programs depending on need. Emergency Meals provides up to 60 meals for short-term crisis intervention to individuals released from the hospital after surgery who are in need of a temporary meal service; Short-Term Meals provides up to 90 meals per year to assist address temporary or episodic needs; Long-Term Meals provides up to five meals per week for a year for people with ongoing needs.

Provides comprehensive dental care by volunteer dentists. Does not provide emergency or cosmetic dental care.

Provides scholarships to access sports and recreation programs offered through its partner organizations. Funds activities such as skiing and snowboarding lessons, race participation fees, season/day passes at Stowe Mountain Resort, Nordic skiing at Craftsbury Outdoor Center, as well as swimming lessons, indoor rock climbing, movement classes, kayaking, and paddleboard lessons. Also provides grants to support advanced training for adaptive coaches affiliated with partner organizations.

Provides a broad selection of recreational opportunities and leisure time activities.

Provides technical assistance on disability rights and policies to individuals, organizations, state agencies, and advocacy groups. Supports community education and statewide advocacy efforts on disability-related issues.

Provides a monthly hot noon meal at Marlboro Community Center.

Provides talking books, large-print books, Print/Braille picture books, magazines on tape and descriptive videos. Provides a toll-free, electronic service that allows individuals who are blind or disabled to listen to daily newspapers and magazines. Arranges for home delivery of books and audiovisual materials to individuals unable to leave their homes.

Offers technical assistance on disability rights and policies to individuals with disabilities, as well as to organizations, state agencies, and advocacy groups. Assists with local and statewide education and advocacy on disability issues.

Provides a free virtual, drop-in activity center and discussion group, by and for individuals with disabilities and medical concerns, and interested community members.

Offers a series of social activities, including dances, book club, self advocacy, cooking and many other events throughout the year.

Provides a card that allows cancer patients to receive discounts at participating local businesses.

Provides low-cost or free health care for adults. Vermont Medicaid includes doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, vision, and some dental care. Also covers long-term care in a nursing home or at home, and physical therapy. Medicaid for the Aged, Blind, or Disabled (MABD) is also available. Assists Vermonters in enrolling in (and answers questions about) Medicaid and MABD. The member services line can help with filling out the application.

Allows eligible Vermonters to use a simpler, shorter combined application for both 3SquaresVT and fuel benefits, with a 36 month renewal term and no additional paperwork. Each program enrollee will have an individual caseworker. Current 3SquaresVT recipients who qualify will be converted to 3Squares in a SNAP.

Maintains a website that helps individuals plan their careers, explore education and training options, and search and apply for jobs.

Advocates for improved access to the electoral process by individuals with disabilities, working on systems change and outreach to individuals. Provides information and assistance for voter registration, voting rights outreach, and polling place accessibility and voting official training. Also offers a publication, "Voter's Guide for People with Disabilities."

Offers a weekly open studio art program in collaboration with SNSC and the AVA Gallery and Art Center in Lebanon New Hampshire. The participating artists explore different media with an emphasis on creative self-expression while socializing.

Provides a searchable listing of camps in Vermont for children with disabilities.
