Reach Up helps with identifying skills, abilities, interests, training or education needs, preparation for work, childcare costs, transportation costs, and work-related costs such as clothing, tools, and supplies. Each person on Reach Up works with a case manager to create a Family Development Plan. Benefits paid through direct deposit or EBT card. Child-Only Reach Up provides cash assistance to help eligible adults care for the minor, dependent children of relatives or family friends. Reach First helps families overcome temporary, short-term financial crises and avoid the need for longer-term assistance, providing case management, financial help, and support services. Provides information and assistance to help consumers self-advocate about utility issues, and provides a form for consumers to file complaints against regulated utility companies and billing or service related to unregulated broadband and wireless companies. Services may include information and education about how to address and resolve problems. Will also investigate, track, and attempt to resolve complaints by consumers against unregulated services such as broadband, wireless, cable modem, and Voice-Over Internet Protocol (VOIP).

Provides an online search engine for information about American Legion posts in Vermont. Listing will include links to the individual posts when available.

Provides shelter for animals who have been abandoned, abused or surrendered by their owners. Services include animal adoption, pet food pantry, spay/neuter services, community education about pet care, and reporting of cruelty and neglect of animals to local authorities.

Provides rehabilitative therapies including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language pathology to help individuals recovering from surgery, stroke, or illness. Also provides pediatric rehabilitative therapies.

Provides formal supervision of offenders released conditionally on probation or parole or confined to their homes or other venues in the community.

Clinical trials are research studies designed to seek new cures and more effective treatments for diseases. Each study uses patients and otherwise healthy participants, to answer scientific questions and find better ways to prevent, screen for, diagnose, or treat a disease.

Provides counseling and advice on planning, launching, managing, and growing a small business. Services include financial assistance through loan guarantees, minority business development, and counseling and advice to veterans and deployed military. Online courses, webinars, and in-person presentations are also available.

Supports the successful re-entry into the community of people released from incarceration through Circles of Support and Accountability (COSAs). COSAs are made up of citizen volunteers who work with participants to help them learn to manage the challenges of everyday life, be accountable for their actions and become responsible community members. Volunteer coordinators may help establish links to employment, housing, transportation, and benefit programs.

Works with peers one on one and in groups to create independent living plans to reach an individuals' goals. Plans may include moving out of a nursing home, managing attendant care, budgeting finances, acquiring adaptive equipment, communicating more effectively, or finding a job.

Offers an after-school program with daily activities including arts and crafts, science, sports, hikes, homework help, and gardening. Snacks are provided. During the summer, offers a five week camp.

Provides monthly supplemental nutrition assistance benefits to low-income households to purchase food. Households in which any person is younger than 65 access their benefit using a Vermont Express electronic benefits transfer (EBT) debit card. If everyone in a household is 65 or older, or receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI), benefits are deposited as cash into the recipient's bank account. Expedited benefits are available in emergencies and other specific situations. EBT cards may also be used to buy fresh, local products at certain farmers' markets in Vermont. A list of farmer's markets that can accept EBT cards is available on the website. In addition, 3SquaresVT benefits may be used for seeds and plants that grow fruit and vegetables at any retailer or farmer's market that accepts EBT cards.

Survivor-directed services may include safety planning, emotional support, assistance in obtaining emergency relief from abuse orders, hospital emergency room support, assistance in finding emergency shelter, advocacy for legal, financial, medical, and housing issues, and community resource referrals.

Offers parent education workshops, classes, and parent support groups.
