Provides a crisis intervention and assessment program that includes telephone or face-to-face consultation and assessment for admission to local and/or statewide residential crisis programs. Also provides crisis intervention referral services and follow-up. When deemed warranted by the emergency intervention specialist, individuals may be placed in a Public Inebriate Program bed, a safe alternative for individuals who require ongoing supervision during withdrawal from drug and/or alcohol intoxification.

Provides crisis intervention services to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress or worried about someone else in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. Specialized services available to the deaf/hard of hearing/those with hearing loss, Veterans, and Spanish speakers. Follow up services provided as well.

Home repair assistance also may include technical support, home maintenance workshops, special grants, home inspection, assistance in creating job specifications and finding estimates, and ongoing project support.
