Provides individualized outpatient substance use assessment and treatment services for individuals who are dependent upon, or at risk of becoming dependent upon, alcohol or other substances. Also provides family substance use counseling for families dealing with adolescent substance use issues and provides group treatment services for adolescents. Provides information about alcohol and drug use; the effects on individuals, families and communities; as well as information for the public about strategies for prevention and early intervention.

Provides rescue services to dogs at risk, placing them in foster homes and ultimately connecting them to adoptive households. Services include primary medical care such as physical health examinations, immunizations, acute and chronic health screenings, obstetric care, laboratory testing, and birth control counseling. Provides onsite integrated health services to enhance access to appropriate prevention, treatment, recovery and wellness services and activities. Pediatric primary care is staffed by specialists who are concerned with the physical, emotional and social health of infants, children and adolescents from birth to young adulthood.

Issues Vermont's Disabled Plates and Windshield Placards that allow individuals to park in designated spaces in public areas or in front of their homes. Also allows parking for unlimited periods of time in time limit zones as well as parking in metered parking areas without paying fees.

Provides mediation services through which disputes are resolved with the help of a mediator in an effort to avoid resorting to court intervention. Situations that may benefit from mediation are disputes with neighbors, such as noise disputes, vandalism, animal complaints, and parking issues; landlord tenant disputes; school discipline and truancy matters; and problems related to business or workplace conflicts.

Operates a resource contact center that connects children and their families to services they need. Child Development Specialists provide education and support around developmental or behavioral concerns, help recognize typical developmental milestones, offer confidential developmental screening, provide referrals to community-based supports, empower families to overcome barriers to services, and follow up with families as appropriate.

Provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient care and 24-hour emergency care. Services include 24-hour physician staffed emergency room services, diagnostic imaging, general medical and surgical services, lab testing, blood supply services, hospital-based outpatient services, disease specific treatment, pain management, adult and children's services.

Provides information about locations throughout Vermont where batteries can be recycled. Accepted batteries include alkaline batteries (such as AA, AAA, 9V, D-cell, C-cell, button cell, etc), rechargeable batteries, e-bike batteries, and Lithium batteries, such as those found in e-cigarettes. Cell phones can also be recycled.

Provides adoption services for companion animals and farm animals that have been rescued or given up.

Program also provides environmental permit information and assistance, business and municipal compliance assistance, a number to call to report hazardous materials spills, and an Environmental Enforcement Division, which takes complaints regarding potential violations of Vermont's environmental laws. Also offers sampling of drinking water, well tests, and other resources during water-related emergencies.

Provides design and construction of wheelchair ramps and other home accessibility projects.

Offers assistance in cat rescue, practices Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) service for ferals, provides spay/neuter services for stray cats and kittens and fosters strays until adopted into homes.

Provides support and assistance to help pet owners in need to obtain veterinary expenses for their animal companion. Free provision of animal food and litter is dependent upon availability.

Provides onsite coordinated primary care, mental health services, and wellness services at participating schools. Health care services include physical examinations, sports examinations, immunizations, hearing and vision examinations, and health screenings. Information for health maintenance such as nutrition, weight programs, resources to reduce at-risk teen behaviors such as pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, and substance use are also offered.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations. Diapers are also available. Provides a Christmas Food Basket program.

Works with peers one on one and in groups to create independent living plans to reach an individuals' goals. Plans may include moving out of a nursing home, managing attendant care, budgeting finances, acquiring adaptive equipment, communicating more effectively, or finding a job.

Provides three specific, home-delivered meals programs depending on need. Emergency Meals provides up to 60 meals for short-term crisis intervention to individuals released from the hospital after surgery who are in need of a temporary meal service; Short-Term Meals provides up to 90 meals per year to assist address temporary or episodic needs; Long-Term Meals provides up to five meals per week for a year for people with ongoing needs.

Provides ongoing family support to all military personnel and families. Operates as a one-stop service center which provides assistance, information and referral to other agencies and organizations that assist service members and their families in both the military and civilian sectors. Services include emergency assistance, education and training, Tricare and insurance issues, ID cards, family care plans, counselor support, employer support, financial, family advocacy, legal property and household issues, reintegration and adjustment concerns.

Provides a Thanksgiving meal and a Christmas meal to go at the Center, as well as providing all ingredients for holiday meals at home, such as turkeys and hams with fresh produce and side dishes.

Provides prenatal and postpartum support including childbirth education, breastfeeding support, parenting strategies, coping skills, and information on health and safety issues.
