Helps families with children by providing case management services that support work, training and education, and cash grants for basic necessities. Reach Up helps with identifying skills, abilities, interests, training or education needs, preparation for work, childcare costs, transportation costs, and work-related costs such as clothing, tools, and supplies. Each person on Reach Up works with a case manager to create a Family Development Plan. Benefits paid through direct deposit or EBT card. Child-Only Reach Up provides cash assistance to help eligible adults care for the minor, dependent children of relatives or family friends. Reach First helps families overcome temporary, short-term financial crises and avoid the need for longer-term assistance, providing case management, financial help, and support services. Reach Ahead helps families transition from Vermont's Reach Up or Post-Secondary Education (PSE) programs to working, with supports to help maintain a job, including cash incentives for working and help paying for car repairs, work clothes, and work supplies, a 100% childcare subsidy, and a cash benefit for food.

Offers a series of health-related workshops and presentations for the community, many of which are offered by health professionals. Information about local wellness programs is also published in the Healthy Community flyer, a publication of the hospital. Topics include movement and exercise, nutrition, childbirth education, car seat safety, chronic disease self-management, and health/disease specific support group meetings.

Provides interactive tools for finding Vermont state parks (Find a Park) and trails in both Vermont and New Hampshire (Trail Finder). Also available is an online and phone number registration system for reserving campsites, cabins, cottages, picnic areas and group sites in Vermont state parks. Park passes can be purchased online.

Provides family dentistry services, including comprehensive clinical care and prevention services. Comprehensive clinical care services include: preventive, restorative, extractions, crown and bridge, periodontal services and minor implant restorations.

Provides temporary homes, food, medical, and behavioral care for stray or surrendered animals. Provides adoption services, pet food pantry, low-cost spay/neuter clinics, volunteer, and educational opportunities. Assists low-income owners with vet bills via a no-interest loan program. Also provides a Trap, Neuter, Release program (TNR) that aids farmers and others who willingly care for unowned cats in barns and other outbuildings, by trapping, vaccinating, spaying or neutering, and treating (if necessary), and then returning cat(s) back to their colony (group) in the wild or barn.

Provides an online Minor Guardianship informational page that explains Vermont's minor guardianship procedures. In probate court families are able to enter into voluntary arrangements for the care of minor children without state intervention.

Provides comprehensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment services that include substance use disorder counseling, medication-assisted treatment, integrated medical and behavioral services, treatment and counseling for individuals with co-occurring disorders, and psychiatric medication management.

Provides a welcome baby gift bag available for pick up or home delivery. The gift bag includes: a book for the baby, gifts for the family, local and state resource and services information, and pamphlets on child health, safety and development.

Provides primary police services for approximately 200 Vermont towns out of 10 barracks throughout the state. Troopers perform traditional police services of traffic enforcement and the investigation of crimes, and also enforce snowmobile and recreational boating laws.
