Tutorial topics include divorce, relief from abuse orders, security deposits, small claims, and social security appeals. Also included is a video overview on what to expect when getting ready for a court hearing.

Helps youth with disabilities plan and prepare for life after high school. HireAbility Vermont vocational counselors work with both students and school personnel. Services include career counseling, assessment, job search skills, work experiences, exploration of post-secondary education and training programs, workplace readiness, instruction in self-advocacy, and guidance and information on IEP and transition planning, 504 accommodations, benefits planning, and other needed services.

Provides educational presentations on domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, human trafficking, sexual harassment, and related topics to schools, churches, businesses, medical staff, law enforcement, and community organizations. Presentations can be tailored to meet specific organization needs.

Provides nurses and/or other trained professionals who visit the homes of women during pregnancy and after childbirth to help women improve their personal health and development during the prenatal period and learn to care for their infant. Services include at-home assessments for expectant mothers and infants, postpartum assessments, newborn evaluations, breastfeeding support, nutrition education, parenting information, family adjustment support, skilled nursing care if needed, and assistance with coordination of family services.

Provides MAT (medication-assisted treatment) for adults struggling with opioid use disorder. Provides assessment and treatment for opiate addiction. Services include screening intake, assessment, treatment planning, methadone maintenance and medically supervised withdrawal, counseling services, case management and referral, medical services for opioid disorder, discharge planning, and follow-up.

Provides free energy efficient appliances and other products to help reduce energy costs. Products may include refrigerators, clothes washers, water heaters, dehumidifiers, and energy-saving products, including low-flow shower heads, faucet aerators, and LEDs.

Provides volunteer crews for salvaging farm produce and arranges storage and distribution of gleaned food donations in an effort to make healthy, fresh food available to Vermonters in need.

Community-based, professionally facilitated open play times are offered to children and their grown-ups.

Provides monthly supplemental nutrition assistance benefits to low-income households to purchase food. Households in which any person is younger than 65 access their benefit using a Vermont Express electronic benefits transfer (EBT) debit card. If everyone in a household is 65 or older, or receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI), benefits are deposited as cash into the recipient's bank account. Expedited benefits are available in emergencies and other specific situations. EBT cards may also be used to buy fresh, local products at certain farmers' markets in Vermont. A list of farmer's markets that can accept EBT cards is available on the website. In addition, 3SquaresVT benefits may be used for seeds and plants that grow fruit and vegetables at any retailer or farmer's market that accepts EBT cards.

Provides formal wear that includes gowns, tuxedos, shoes, and accessories for high school proms between April and June annually. Accepts donations of formal wear (in fashion and vintage) that is in very good condition.

Provides low-cost or free health care for adults. Vermont Medicaid includes doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, vision, and some dental care. Also covers long-term care in a nursing home or at home, and physical therapy. Medicaid for the Aged, Blind, or Disabled (MABD) is also available. Assists Vermonters in enrolling in (and answers questions about) Medicaid and MABD. The member services line can help with filling out the application.

Handles cases including evictions, foreclosures, breach of contract, land disputes, orders of protection for victims of stalking and sexual assault, medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death. The Civil Division also includes Small Claims Courts, in which individuals represent themselves in disputes involving damages of $5,000 or less. Also provides up-to-date information about COVID-19, Flu, and RSV vaccinations in Vermont, including eligibility information for adults and children, as well as an interactive map where individuals can locate a vaccine site near them, and a link on how to request a new or lost immunization record.

Provides consumers with a federally mandated, free credit report annually, as well as fraud and identity theft services, and a way for consumers to Opt-Out of offers of credit or insurance. Also offers a way to dispute information in a credit report.

Serves three judicial districts in Vermont that have jurisdiction in all criminal and civil matters related to violations of federal statutes and the U.S. Constitution.The U.S. District Court Clerks' offices provide administrative services to the Court, the Bar and the Public.
