Assists caregivers in accessing supportive services and programs for which they may be eligible. Caregivers may apply for small grants from the Dementia Respite Program enabling them to have a period of respite from their caregiving responsibilities. Support services may also include coordination of support groups, caregiver trainings, and self-care informational bulletins and newsletters.

Operates a state approved independent school with a therapeutic educational curriculum for residential and day students. Teachers use diverse teaching methods to present curriculum and meet the goals of each child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) or other specialized needs.

Let's Grow Kids Action Network works with statewide partners to advance the policy agenda both in Vermont communities and in the State House and provides educational resources for community members who want to help advocacy efforts.

Provides legal advice or representation for Vermonters with physical or developmental disabilities when their legal problems arise from their disabilities. Cases include guardianship, special education, discrimination in employment and housing, access to health care, and Social Security Disability-related benefits problems.

Offers innovative and often very intensive assistance to youth transitioning to adulthood with accessing and succeeding in employment, education, housing, positive relationships, community connections, and living independently. The JOBS program focuses on youth who have either left or are seriously at-risk-of leaving school prior to successful graduation and are at high risk for involvement with the criminal justice system, substance use, homelessness, physical abuse, abusive behaviors, or other areas of significant concern.

Provides victims of sexual assault with access to a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) and, if they wish, a Victim Advocate. SARCs and Advocates are not counselors or licensed clinicians, but are a confidential resource specialists. SARCs and Advocates will explain military reporting options available to the victim and connect them to appropriate medical, behavioral health, legal, spiritual, and financial resources available through the military.

Provides organic farmers with cash flow needed in times of an emergency. Farmers may request up to $5,000 in grants that do not need to be repaid. (The grant maximum can change due to or in response to diffferent disasters.) Support with grant application available.

Provides non-urgent health care. Includes exams, nutrition counseling, and mental health counseling. Women's health care services provided through partner providers in nearby locations. Also included are acute illness care, chronic care management, vaccines and tobacco cessation. Dental services include cleanings and evaluations. Offers referrals for extractions and fillings. Offers help with signing up for Medicaid, RRMC Free Care, and YOU First. Patients may get help with over-the-counter and prescription medications.

Provides online information about HIV/AIDS and STI's, including prevention, testing, and referrals to health care providers. Also provides financial assistance for purchasing prescription medications for those living with HIV and may also help pay for insurance premiums, co-pays, and/or deductibles if eligible.

Provides information that assists travelers with making health and immunization decisions prior to traveling and provides protocol guidelines for individuals returning from international travel when disease outbreaks are an issue. Online travelers' health resources include a checklist for vaccination and travel, a national Find-a-Clinic link, and a continuously updated travelers' resource library.

Conducts confidential ongoing outreach to current and former military members and their families, to identify potential needs and provide access to available services, including advanced outpatient mental health clinical services such as counseling and traumatic brain injury assessment. Also provides dental referral for veterans. Members of the outreach team can meet with veterans and families at home, at work, or any place in the community.

Provides three separate supportive counseling groups, one for adults and two for different adolescent age ranges, which provide training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, which help them cope with difficult and intense emotions. The groups explain the DBT skills in an easy-to-learn manner and help them implement these skills into their everyday lives, enabling them to accept, validate, and tolerate their emotions in a healthy way and replace certain behaviors with new coping skills.

Provides families with children experiencing homelessness the opportunity to stay temporarily in a residential building onsite. Includes intensive case management with the goal of securing permanent housing and exploring barriers to housing.

Offers a responsible driving education program that provides participants with increased insight into what it means to drive irresponsibly and greater awareness of how victims, others, the community, and themselves are impacted by their distracted and/or impaired driving behavior.

Provides general and specialized inpatient and outpatient mental health services and intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment. Specialized services include military sexual trauma assessment and treatment, post traumatic stress disorder assessment and treatment, as well as readjustment counseling services.

Offers a program where trained volunteer women (mentors) provide support to women reintegrating to the community after incarceration.

Provides support and social services coordination for those in need of help connecting with resources that are available to them including housing, employment, health, and child services. Additional services include cross-cultural education and information about integrating into Vermont communities, interpreter services, leadership development and advocacy, workforce development, domestic violence prevention/intervention, youth enrichment, and new American women's support groups.

Sponsors dances, group meetings, life skills courses, trips, and other social events throughout the year at various locations.

Provides referrals to quality child care and specific supports to eligible children, and program consultation for early care and education and after school programs. CIS Coordinators assist families in accessing services appropriate to their needs. CIS teams have expertise in social work and family support, maternal/child health and nursing, child development and early intervention, early childhood and family mental health, and specialized child care. Child care financial assistance may be available.

Offers playgroups designed specifically to allow fathers, masculine-identifying caregivers and individuals that identify as fathers to connect with one another while engaging in healthy play with their children. Groups meet at local playgrounds, coffee shops, family centers, libraries and more.

Provides a space where individuals can socialize, listen to music, play games, enjoy nutritious snacks, and connect with others.

Provides a shelter program including case management. Also provides transitional housing for some qualifying shelter participants as a next step toward stable housing.

Provides information about the use of marijuana and other cannabis products. Also provides online resources for parents, educators, health care professionals, and community organizations.
