Provides one-stop centers that offer an array of employment and training services. Helps job seekers assess skills and interests, explore training options, create a job search plan, write a resume, and find a job. Job seekers can access computers, educational resources, and information on employers. Training and pre-job assistance services include ICAN, which pairs qualified individuals with an employment coordinator to assist them with resources, support services, job readiness skills, case management, and job placement.

Maintains contact information about crime victim advocates' offices located throughout Vermont's 14 counties. Provides a variety of supportive services for victims of crimes and their families which may include general emotional support, information about police investigative procedures, and information on the status of court cases and proceedings. Victim Advocates guide victims through the criminal justice process and serve as a liaison with the State's Attorneys and other criminal justice agencies. Advocates notify victims of hearings, prepare victims to testify, and assist victims with applications for Victims Compensation. They also assist with completing Victim Impact Statements, requesting restitution, and requesting notification of their offender's release.

Provides public awareness and education to promote community wellness and to prevent the misuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, with an emphasis on youth substance use prevention. Collaborates with other wellness programs, schools, and communities to help them promote healthy behaviors and reduce health risks.

Provides flexibly scheduled and routed door-to-door (or curb-to-curb) transportation services. Coordinates and provides non-emergency medical transportation to health and wellness appointments. Offers transportation for individuals with substance use disorder to support groups, job training and access, recovery centers, drug testing, and other services. Provides occasional nursing and rehabilitative therapies in the patient's home. Skilled Nursing Services include nursing care, case management, and client and family education. Provides clients with social workers who offer coordination of community services and resources, client and family counseling, and navigating the health care system. Licensed Nursing Assistants provide home health assistance, including personal care assistance, light housekeeping, and help with normal daily living activities.

Provides in-home placement services for individuals who choose to live in a family setting rather than a larger residential care facility. Host home providers are provided with a respite budget for periods of relief or rest from caregiving.

Provides a visor card to help individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing communicate with law enforcement officers if they are pulled over while driving. There are tips for how officers should communicate with the cardholder, followed by options that cardholders can point to indicating how best to communicate (writing, texting, lip-reading, etc.) with them. On the back, there are graphics with one-word labels that officers can point to under “I need to see your” (license, registration, insurance, other) and “Violations.” The last section is “Help” and lists options for cardholders to show the officer what they need (medical, lost, tow, etc.).

Pays a portion of home heating bills for households meeting income eligibility requirements. Seasonal Fuel Assistance is not designed to cover all of the costs of heating a home or apartment. Active Seasonal Fuel households are eligible for free weatherization services.

Windsor's community Registered Nurse will coordinate the delivery of needed services, provide assistance/education around following medical advice and proper medication taking, assess in-home mobility safety to reduce the risk of falls, assist families with understanding the issues and needs of the family member requiring in-home care services, and provide ongoing follow-up visits to ensure the best possible health outcomes. All services provided are confidential and specific to each individual's needs.

Pays for laundry machine use and provides soap if needed.
