Administers the Meals on Wheels program. Registers and enrolls eligible individuals for meals and coordinates delivery schedules with volunteers. Meals are fully cooked and delivered refrigerated for reheating. Special diets are accommodated.

Works to bring community members together by offering a range of programs, including a community meal; limited support fund; community events such as music, theater, clothing repair, and Haiku; and youth enrichment and organizing activities.

Provides financial assistance to help Green Mountain Power (GMP) customers pay their bill when they have received a disconnect notice. Part of the bill will be paid by the program, and payment arrangements will be made for the balance.

Provides a free and anonymous syringe exchange program. Program distributes new syringes and disposes of used syringes, safer use supplies, naloxone, wound care kits, fentanyl test strips, xyalazine test strips, and overdose prevention education.

Provides a full range of hospice nursing care and supportive services for individuals with a limited life expectancy to help them achieve the best quality of life. Also provides comprehensive palliative care nursing and support care to individuals in need of management of pain and other symptoms whether or not they have a life limiting illness to help them achieve the best possible quality of life.

Works with peers one on one and in groups to create independent living plans to reach an individuals' goals. Plans may include moving out of a nursing home, managing attendant care, budgeting finances, acquiring adaptive equipment, communicating more effectively, or finding a job.

Organizes educational and lobbying efforts to promote right to life issues, rejecting abortion and euthanasia. Activities include coordinating local pro-life chapters, legislative advocacy, referrals to a crisis pregnancy center, distributing educational materials, promoting adoption, and publishing a newsletter.

Provides an intensive outpatient program with comprehensive care. Participants can continue living at home, attending school, or working while participating in the program.

Assists individuals seeking to improve their money management skills in monthly bill paying, debt reduction, savings and credit reports and credit repair. Works with the individual to develop a monthly household budget to address their income, expenses and debt as well as referrals to eligible programs to create a sustainable budget for basic living expenses. Also offers workshops that address money management including banking services, preparing for a personal/car loan or home mortgage, reviewing, repairing and rebuilding credit reports and paying down debt.

Provides local officials and the public with information about Vermont's municipal governments and the laws that apply to them. Administers Vermont's Notaries Public, oversees the Administrative Rulemaking Process, and keeps many of Vermont's government records, including historical records.

Addresses complaints regarding housing discrimination, mobile and manufactured homes, deceptive contractors, issues with poor maintenance, health and safety risks. Also handles complaints about mismanagement and fraud on the part of landlords or property managers of HUD-insured and HUD-subsidized housing.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations. Vouchers are available at the discretion of the provider for items not available at food shelf, and are redeemable at Wing's, the local grocery store, for food and personal items only.

Provides help to taxpayers who have a tax dispute with the IRS about an audit, tax debt, levy, or lien. Help in understanding letters sent from the IRS. Offers education and outreach events and materials to help taxpayers understand their tax responsibilities get benefits (like the Earned Income Tax Credit) they may qualify for.

Works to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination. Invites membership and non-member civic engagement in racial equality initiatives/events and provides public education and awareness about racial inequality and racism in the United States.

Provides trained volunteers who offer non-medical assistance to hospice patients and their families. Assistance includes companionship, personal care, assistance with daily living, transportation. Additional services include provision of vigil sitters who provide a loving presence during the last days of life, respite for caregivers, and bereavement follow-up support.

Offers a substance free environment for peer support, educational programs, information and referral to needed services, recovery coaching, socializing, recreational activities, and meeting space for a variety of recovery workshops and meetings. They offer Narcan.

Also provides family, couples, and group mental health or substance use disorder counseling for families dealing with adolescent substance use disorder issues and provides group treatment services for adolescents.
