Provides a spectrum of supported living arrangements to meet the needs of each person. Clinical services for individuals include provision of a psychiatrist to provide evaluation, medication checks, and after-hours consultation on medication issues. Also provides care coordination services.

Provides a crisis intervention and assessment program that includes telephone, telehealth or face-to-face consultation and assessment for admission to local and/or statewide residential crisis programs. Also provides crisis intervention referral services and follow-up. When deemed warranted by the emergency intervention specialist, individuals may be placed in a Public Inebriate Program bed, a safe alternative to incarceration for individuals who require ongoing supervision during withdrawal from drug and/or alcohol intoxication.

Provides information, guidance and assistance that supports the ability of family member caregivers to make decisions and solve problems relating to their responsibility of raising children in situations where the birth parents are unable or unwilling to provide for their care. Provides respite grants to kinship caregivers.

Helps residents apply for 3SquaresVT, School Breakfast and Lunch, WIC and other food programs. Offers nutrition education and activities to persons eligible for food stamps. Acts as advocate for food stamp issues. Distributes Farm to Family and Senior Farmer Market coupons, which can be used to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables at farmer's markets in Vermont.

Provides screening, diagnostics, and treatment planning services for people who are experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric problems. Offers individual, group, conjoint (couples), and family counseling, as well as therapy groups, medication and other mental health services for community residents.

Head Start (ages 3-5) and Early Head Start (ages 0-3) provide high-quality education, healthy meals, medical and dental screenings, and holistic support for the entire family to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. Head Start also connects families to social services and resources for housing, employment, education, food, health, mental health counseling, substance use disorder, domestic violence, English as a Secondary Language, and other family needs. Space is reserved for children with special needs (hearing, speech, vision impairment, emotional or physical challenges). Families with foster children are automatically eligible. A limited number of families that exceed the income guidelines can enroll.

Pays a portion of home heating bills for households meeting income eligibility requirements. Seasonal Fuel Assistance is not designed to cover all of the costs of heating a home or apartment. Active Seasonal Fuel households are eligible for free weatherization services.

Provides custom-fitted window inserts to reduce heating costs and waste by lowering heat loss through windows. Trained volunteers measure windows in home and the inserts are made to order by volunteers. The inserts are easily installed and removed, low cost, and free to those who cannot afford the cost.

Provides a webpage that explains how to get each type of passport. The four types are: Routine, Expedited, Urgent Travel, and Emergency. Emergency passports are available for life-or-death situations. Urgent travel passports are available for other emergency situations.
