EMERGENCY BOARDING FOR PETS OF PEOPLE IN CRISIS | UPPER VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY

Provides free temporary housing and care for animals in emergency situations (e.g. domestic violence, homelessness, and medical issues). If a pet owner is suddenly hospitalized or displaced by a house fire, for example, Upper Valley Human Society can take care of their pets so that they don’t have to surrender them. Emergency boarding is for a two-week period and can sometimes be extended, depending on the situation. Offered on a case-by-case basis due to limited capacity. UVHS does NOT provide general vacation boarding or pet sitting as a service.
