VERMONT MEDICAID | DEPARTMENT OF VERMONT HEALTH ACCESS

Provides low-cost or free health care for adults. Vermont Medicaid includes doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, vision, and some dental care. Also covers long-term care in a nursing home or at home, and physical therapy. Medicaid for the Aged, Blind, or Disabled (MABD) is also available. Assists Vermonters in enrolling in (and answers questions about) Medicaid and MABD. The member services line can help with filling out the application.

HEALTH CLINIC SERVICES | PEOPLE'S HEALTH AND WELLNESS CLINIC

Provides free integrated physical/mental health care services, including physical health examinations, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, diet and nutrition counseling, smoking cessation, and dermatology. Complimentary health services include health education, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and naturopathic care. Application and enrollment assistance is also provided for state health insurance programs, hospital and pharmaceutical patient financial assistance and medications.
