Pays a portion of home heating bills for households meeting income eligibility requirements. Seasonal Fuel Assistance is not designed to cover all of the costs of heating a home or apartment. Active Seasonal Fuel households are eligible for free weatherization services.

Also provides vouchers for basic, essential furniture and household goods to low income households who have experienced a disaster or who are moving out of homelessness and have no household furnishings. Vouchers are redeemable at HOPE's resale store.

Offers an eight-week full day camp with a different theme and activities each week. Includes breakfast, lunch, and snack.

Provides assistance for people who need housing including information and guidance about rental costs; how to select affordable housing that meets individual needs; and how to provide for insurance, utility costs, and other requirements related to paying for housing. Coordinates with other providers in the community to help individuals and families obtain or maintain housing. May offer limited financial assistance with rent, rental deposit, and other payments. Also provides the Rent Right Program, designed to provide participants with the skills, materials, and confidence necessary to find and maintain stable housing. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a Preferred Renter Certificate, which shows landlords that they have made an investment into being a good tenant.

Offers adult education and literacy instruction that provides learners with the opportunity to acquire the education and literacy skills they need either to complete a secondary education or to better achieve post-secondary/career goals. Instruction is provided at six learning centers, as well as at job sites, libraries, and other locations. Services include the following: Functional Literacy Education (Reading, Writing, Math), Computer Literacy, English Language Learning, High School Completion Program, General Education Development (GED) Credentialing, and Career and College Readiness.

Provides an intensive inpatient treatment program that includes 24-hour nursing, on-site medical detoxification, individualized treatment, medication management, family and significant other programs, and management of co-occurring disorders.

Offers Section 8 voucher subsidy towards mortgage payments of participants who quality to purchase their own home.

Provides pre-boxed food staples and personal grooming items as available.

Assists individuals with regaining their licenses while they are paying off fines and fees. Program participants work with diversion staff to develop contracts that include a payment plan. Participants must satisfy the Vermont Judicial Bureau and the Department of Motor Vehicles requirements. Successful completion of program leads to criminal charges being dismissed.

Provides the Vermont Enhanced Driver License (EDL/ID), a border crossing document for US citizens without a passport who are returning home from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean or Bermuda, by land or sea. The EDL /ID is not accepted for international air travel. The EDL/ID is a Real ID-Compliant License, and a federal, Western Hemisphere Travel (WHT) Initiative-compliant document.

Provides strength based psychotherapy services including play and various group therapies both in area schools and in Waterbury and Waitsfield offices. Also offers resource and referral information, free consultations, parenting education and prevention training.

Coordinates/Provides transportation to medical appointments, as well as dental, vision, counseling, prescription pick-up, and other covered transportation services for eligible Medicaid recipients. Offers community (volunteer) driving opportunities.

Answers questions about current legislation, including the status of bills.

Services include primary medical care such as physical health examinations, acute and chronic health screenings, obstetric care, laboratory testing, and birth control counseling. Provides onsite coordinated primary care, mental health services, and substance abuse services to enhance access to appropriate prevention, treatment, recovery and wellness services and activities. Programs for health maintenance and public education services are also offered. Coordination of transportation to medical appointments and wellness programs is available for patients.

Provides community food shelf services, including menstration supplies and pet food. Personal care items may be available depending on donations. Extra holiday-type items available before the holiday for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
