Provides comprehensive medical care to individuals of all ages including physical exams, immunizations, and routine screenings, treatment of short-term injuries or illnesses, treatment of chronic illnesses, care for women during pregnancy and childbirth, family planning services, nutritional counseling, physical therapy, and other special programs. Provides preventive health care, as well as diagnosis and treatment of illness in children, adolescents and adults. Services include primary medical care such as physical health examinations, immunizations, acute and chronic health screenings, obstetric care, laboratory testing, and birth control counseling. Provides onsite integrated health services to enhance access to appropriate prevention, treatment, recovery and wellness services and activities. Pediatric primary care is staffed by specialists who are concerned with the physical, emotional and social health of infants, children and adolescents from birth to young adulthood.

Provides spay services for cats who are pregnant or who have given birth. Once the pet is done weaning her kittens and her milk has dried up, she will be spayed and receive any other medical care she needs, before being returned to her owner. All offspring will be kept by the PMFAS to be placed up for adoption.

Offers one-on-one and group HIV prevention education and support, prevention supplies and materials, peer outreach program, and HIV-positive speakers bureau.

Provides one-on-one help and support by telephone or in person to families regarding their child's education, development, special health care needs, and transition from school to adult life. On a limited basis, consultants can attend Individualized Education Program (IEP), 504 and other meetings with families. Family consultants also provide information about community resources that are available to help parents and children. Provides a free and anonymous syringe exchange program. Program distributes new syringes and disposes of used syringes, safer use supplies, naloxone, wound care kits, fentanyl test strips, xyalazine test strips, and overdose prevention education.

Offers a series of health-related workshops and presentations for the community, many of which are offered by health professionals. Information about local wellness programs is provided on line and is also published in flyer form. Topics include nutrition, chronic disease self-management, and health/disease specific support group meetings.

Provides a full range of supportive services for individuals with a limited life expectancy and their families. Also provides comprehensive palliative and support care to individuals in need of pain and other symptom management, whether or not they have a life limiting illness.

Pursues the preservation and protection of endangered land resources from indiscriminate development. Partners with local and statewide conservation organizations to conserve Vermont lands for the future. Conservation efforts include acquisition of development rights transferred through conservation easements for Vermont farms, working forest projects, and community projects. Also offers an online directory of conserved land open to the public for recreational trails.

Maintains vital records of Vermont births, deaths, marriages, civil unions, and divorces. Also provides a form that allows an individual to change the gender marker on their birth certificate.

Provides financial assistance to help Green Mountain Power (GMP) customers pay their bill when they have received a disconnect notice. Part of the bill will be paid by the program, and payment arrangements will be made for the balance.

Provides a way to open a STABLE Account. STABLE Accounts allow individuals with disabilities to save and invest money without losing benefits like Medicaid or SSI. Earnings from the Account are not subject to federal income tax when the money is spent on “Qualified Disability Expenses.”

Provides supplemental food for families with young children. WIC also provides breastfeeding support and nutrition education. Participants can get Farm to Family coupons to use at local farmers' markets.
