Also, presents food safety certification training and exams for the food industry, provides a directory of its members, publishes official travel guides for the state of Vermont, and maintains a tourism information website.

Also provides Medicaid Waiver, community-based one-to-one long term care services to individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Survivor-directed services may include safety planning, emotional support, assistance in obtaining emergency relief from abuse orders, hospital emergency room support, assistance in finding emergency shelter, advocacy for legal, financial, medical, and housing issues, and community resource referrals.

Assists with personal needs items and incidentals expense assistance as well as emergency dental, medical, and prescription assistance, medical supplies and equipment assistance, and burial costs.

Provides door-to-door (or curb-to-curb) transportation services for older adults aged 60 or older, persons with disabilities, and low-income families and individuals. Offers transportation for individuals in recovery to support groups, job training and access, medication-assisted treatment, recovery centers, drug testing, and other services. Issues Vermont Driver Licenses, Commercial Driver Licenses, School Bus Driver Licenses, and Motorcycle Driver Licenses. Provides driver training information and issues ID (Non-driver) cards and Learner Permits. Provides school bus driver training information and administers scheduling for driver's license exams. Issues Foreign and International Licenses.

Includes details on how to test for lead or asbestos, and what you need to know before starting a renovation, repair, or demolition. Also provides an online form to report a concern about the mishandling of asbestos or lead-containing materials.

Provides a Foster Care Program that includes food and supplies for foster care volunteers caring for pregnant cats and dogs, animals recovering from minor surgery, and animals in extreme stress in the shelter environment. Provides a wide array of donation and volunteer opportunities.

Provides referrals for free, confidential mental health services of an hour per week for a year. Give an Hour also supplies a variety of links to mental health information and resources for military families. Works to reduce the stigma associated with mental health problems through education, training, and outreach efforts. Also provides free webinars for Wellness Ambassadors for promoting and advocating for mental health awareness in communities.

Constructs energy efficient, affordable homes in partnership with eligible families. The houses are sold to the partner families at cost, with no profit and no interest. Costs are kept low by using donated materials and volunteer labor.

Provides management and surveillance of wildlife diseases including rabies, avian influenza, and chronic wasting disease. Offers a Vermont-specific rabies hotline in partnership with the Vermont Department of Health. Responds to questions and concerns about nuisance wildlife.

Provides telephone and face-to-face crisis intervention services for individuals whose emotional distress may range in severity from difficulty in coping with daily stress to the crisis of a psychotic episode. Enhanced Mobile Crisis Services provide rapid mobile response for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis. A trained 2-person team can meet the individual at home, workplace, or another community setting, providing support and comfort including safety plans, peer support, care coordination and follow up and, if needed, temporary overnight accommodation.

Administers the Vermont Restitution Fund which makes payment available to crime victims who suffer financial hardship and have been awarded court-ordered restitution from the offender. The Restitution Unit is able to pay victims their restitution as soon as it has been ordered by the court. The Restitution Unit collects from the offender to reimburse the Fund.
