The large majority of Town Clerks are also Town Treasurers, but there is a separate list of Town Treasurers who are not also the Town Clerks.

Provides monthly supplemental nutrition assistance benefits to low-income households to purchase food. Households in which any person is younger than 65 access their benefit using a Vermont Express electronic benefits transfer (EBT) debit card. If everyone in a household is 65 or older, or receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI), benefits are deposited as cash into the recipient's bank account. Expedited benefits are available in emergencies and other specific situations. EBT cards may also be used to buy fresh, local products at certain farmers' markets in Vermont. A list of farmer's markets that can accept EBT cards is available on the website. In addition, 3SquaresVT benefits may be used for seeds and plants that grow fruit and vegetables at any retailer or farmer's market that accepts EBT cards.

Provides formal wear that includes gowns, tuxedos, shoes, and accessories for high school proms between April and June annually. Accepts donations of formal wear (in fashion and vintage) that is in very good condition.

Provides assistance programs in the form of Rehabilitation Loans, Emergency Repair Loans, Access Modification Grants, and Down payment Assistance (duplexes only).

Recovery Coaches also help guide people in recovery to finding resources such as detox and treatment, housing, food, heat, clothing, and transportation, and resources for improving relationships and getting connected with others in recovery with whom they can relate. Offers option of payment plans if taxpayer cannot pay the full amount owed. Helps with the preparation of a heavy vehicle use tax return. Provides state income tax and related tax forms, schedules, and publications for individuals and corporate and business entities. Website offers free online tax preparation and e-filing Free File software.

Provides assistance for people who need housing including information and guidance about rental costs; how to select affordable housing that meets individual needs; and how to provide for insurance, utility costs, and other requirements related to paying for housing. Coordinates with other providers in the community to help individuals and families obtain or maintain housing. May offer limited financial assistance with rent, rental deposit, and other payments. Also provides the Rent Right Program, designed to provide participants with the skills, materials, and confidence necessary to find and maintain stable housing. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a Preferred Renter Certificate, which shows landlords that they have made an investment into being a good tenant.

Provides information by registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and tobacco cessation specialists about lung disease, lung health, and tobacco cessation.

Provides a program that empowers Vermonters to lead healthier lives through hands-on nutrition education. The Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is usually a six-session series held in home, school, or community settings. An online nutrition education series, Eat Smart, Move More, is also offered and participants can access lessons at their own pace while receiving one-on-one support from their closest EFNEP Educator via phone calls, zoom meetings, and emails. Topics covered may include meal planning and preparation, food budgeting with a limited income, food safety and preservation, and nutrition tips.

Develops partnerships, coordinates volunteers, and supports program initiatives that address specific issues in the areas of education, income and health. This includes programs that strengthen financial stability, financial literacy, individual nutritional and physical well being, early learning, addiction prevention. Additionally, support is provided for programs addressing basic needs such as housing, food, and accessibility in service communities.

Provides voluntary bicycle registration program to help find and identify stolen bikes. Lost or stolen bicycles registered through this program have a much greater chance of being returned to their rightful owners once they are recovered.
