Provides a wide range of disaster/emergency preparedness tools and information for individuals and families, including: information on biological, chemical, radiological, and weather-related threats; emergency response plans; and how to become a volunteer emergency responder. Also provides information about the measures individuals can take before, during, and after a localized flooding incident and/or wide scale flooding event.

Provides an online tool that enables people to fill out and print a personalized wallet-sized medication card that documents prescriptions, dosages and other important medical information. This program makes it easier to refill prescriptions if individuals have to leave their homes after a disaster. The website does not store or retain confidential information entered when filling out the card.

The Guardian Angels DART (GADART) is not legally affiliated with VDART but works in cooperation with the group, covering Franklin and Orleans Counties. Pet owners are encouraged to communicate with their local emergency manager via the Town Clerk for guidance on local response plans.

Provides a disaster assistance website and Disaster Assistance Helpline that allows visitors to get information about location of disasters, how to meet their immediate needs, as well as to apply for and check the status of assistance applications.

Provides the Studio Protector, an Internet guide that is an emergency preparedness and response toolkit for artists. Offers in-depth information including articles, interviews with artists and experts, tips, and annotated resource lists.

Coordinates evacuation of pets, provides safe shelters, and establishes a system to track and reunite pets with their owners in the event of a disaster. Provides resources and advice to pet owners, animal-related businesses and non-profits, local communities, and state agencies to strengthen and support Franklin County's capacity to respond to animal needs in the event of a disaster. Guardian Angel Disaster Animal Response Team (GADART) provides support and training for team members and provides guidance to local emergency managers on including the communities' pet population in local response plans. Pet owners are encouraged to communicate with their local emergency manager via the Town Clerk and regional emergency planning group for guidance on local response plans.

Provides a downloadable app that allows individuals to quickly access resources for any traumatic event in an effort to help them provide the best possible support to survivors. Provides a directory of behavioral health service providers in the area impacted by a disaster.

Provides guidance about disaster preparedness for a range of situations. Offers a website that provides the key steps to creating an emergency preparedness kit and plan, including places to evacuate to and communications information.

Provides free assistance during disasters, which includes emergency evacuation center equipped with cots and blankets, as well as food and Health and Mental Health services. Also offers temporary housing to victims of house fires. In addition, provides post-disaster relief to victims, specific to the type of disastrous occurrence. Responders assist in local, regional and national disasters.

Offers disaster preparedness information, and emergency assistance and recovery information for farmers in the recovery phase of natural disasters, and farm-related information regarding water contamination and pesticide exposure. Hotlines may be set up during specific disaster situations and links would be posted in this program. Also provides business disaster loan information for farmers and other agricultural business operators.

Serves all of Vermont with leadership, coordination, and support during the four phases of emergency management: mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. Offers training and education conferences, a forum for discussion and information exchange, and access to policy research. Also encourages collaboration and mutual assistance networks, advocates for legislative initiatives and other measures that enhance emergency planning and effectiveness, and provides leadership to ensure that there is an integrated approach to the management of emergency programs and activities.
