Distributes overdose rescue kits that contain naloxone to protect people from the potentially deadly effects of the drugs they use. Offers a Mobile Needle Exchange van with other services in Chittenden and Franklin Counties. Also provides needle pick-up service and needle handling safety information. Offers AIDS/HIV/STD prevention supplies. Individuals from anywhere will be served. The program is designed to reduce the incidence of drug-related harm, including HIV transmission, Hepatitis C transmission, and drug overdose, by supporting people in any stage of recovery.
