Provides free and confidential emotional support, advocacy, and referrals to 2STLGBQIA+ Vermonters who have experienced violence, including domestic, sexual, or hate violence, bias, workplace or housing harassment or discrimination, trafficking, or stalking. The SafeSpace Anti-Violence Program works in trauma-sensitive ways with 2STLGBQIA+ survivors of violence & harm and 2STLGBQ+ people who cause violence and harm. 2STLGBQIA+ means Two Spirit, Trans, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, HIV+. Two-Spirit refers to specific gender roles, not sexual orientations, of many Native American and Alaska Native peoples that don't fall into a gender binary. It is a specifically North American Indigenous identity, and not to be used by non Indigenous people. Intersex is an umbrella term for differences in sex traits or reproductive anatomy.

Provides a national, toll-free hotline available anywhere in the United States to assist survivors of human trafficking. Assistance provided includes working to develop a safety plan and locating services while being aware of agencies who have limitations in a survivor's area. The Human Trafficking Hotline is not a government entity, law enforcement, or an immigration authority. The National Hotline is currently experiencing long wait times.

Provides a safe, confidential space for the public to call to report instances in which an individual or group of individuals is involved in human trafficking or potential human trafficking and exploitation. Also provides human trafficking information should anyone feel they have come into contact with a potential victim of sex or labor trafficking. The Vermont Rapid Response Team is a collective of local, state and federal agencies, nonprofits, law enforcement agencies, interested citizens, and programs who are seeking to provide comprehensive services and who have established a rapid response support system to victims of human trafficking.
