VERMONT ADAPTIVE SKI & SPORTS PROGRAMS | VERMONT ADAPTIVE SKI & SPORTS
Offers daily, year-round sports and recreational activities at locations throughout Vermont. Recreational opportunities include alpine skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports; and kayaking, canoeing, sailing, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, and special activities and events. Also offers Veteran Ventures programs, CORE Connections wellness retreats and Eco-Able Environmental programs. Volunteers who are advanced intermediate level skier/riders, experienced cyclists, rock climbers, or paddlers are welcome to apply for the volunteer program. Access website about programs, locations, and registration. Winter programming bases in Vermont: Pico Mountain at Killington, Mt. Ellen at Sugarbush Resort in Warren, Bolton Valley Resort in Bolton, Bromley Mountain in Peru and Stratton Mountain Resort, plus scheduled programming at other locations including Killington, Saskadena 6 and Cochran's; The Bart Center is part of the Bromley Mountain program. Summer programs are provided in locations throughout Vermont. Participants are welcome from across the country and around the world.

Provides people with developmental disabilities of all ages with opportunities to express themselves through art, music, dance, literacy, athletics, and fitness while developing bonds of friendship and providing respite for families and caregivers. Offers job skills activities with vocational, social, and business skills training. Provides a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Through these programs ZP Participants contribute and benefit from the community.

Provides year-round training and competition in soccer, bowling, floorball, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, alpine skiing, snowboarding, basketball, track and field, swimming, softball, bocce, and golf. Participants may choose between “traditional” Special Olympics events, which include only athletes with intellectual disabilities, or Unified Sports, where athletes with and without disabilities participate together either as pairs or on teams.

CHAMP | CHAMPLAIN ADAPTIVE MOUNTED PROGRAM
Provides a recreational therapy riding program where students are able to care for horses, exercise, learn to focus their attention and energy, carry out increasingly complex directions, and interact with volunteers and other riders. CHAMP is a PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International) accredited program.
