Offers a year long recreation program facilitated by staff and volunteers. Activities encourage development of communication and social skills through modeling and practice. Individualized skills and goals are identified and worked on through group play and exploration in the community. Some online options may be available through Zoom. Also offers an in-person summer camp called Camp Aspire. Activities include boating, cooking over a fire, hiking, horseback riding and arts and crafts.

PARENTING SUPPORTS | WINSTON L PROUTY CENTER FOR CHILD AND FAMILY DEVELOPMENT
Offers a Pregnancy Group, Parent-Baby Group, and Play Group for Vermonters to meet with other families, share experiences, and learn from local experts. The Pregnancy Group is hosted by a maternal child health nurse and visited by local pregnancy and early childhood specialists. Partners, children, and key supporters are welcome. The Parent-Baby Group is attended by a maternal child health nurse and a lactation professional. Infants, children, partners, and expectant parents welcome. The Play Group includes snack and a story time and is attended by early childhood specialists and is open to families with children from birth to age 5. No registration required

CHILDREN & YOUTH SERVICES PROGRAM, THE | STEPS TO END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Provides advocacy for the rights and needs of children and youth whose lives have been impacted by domestic abuse. The Children's & Youth Services Program (CYSP) provides parenting education and support, age-appropriate playgroups, crisis-intervention, mentorship opportunities, recreational activities and school-based advocacy. The CYSP aims to provide children, youth, and their parents with the services needed to ensure healthy development, both as individuals and in their relationships.
