Provides shelter and care for surrendered and stray animals, including dogs, cats, and other small furry pets. Facilitates pet adoptions, matching shelter animals with appropriate households. Also offers low-cost rabies vaccination and microchip clinics, volunteer opportunities, dog training, and educational programs on pet care.

Provides low-cost preventive veterinary care services to pets for owners in need. Offers low-cost spay/neuter clinics and a separate low-cost wellness clinic, which also may provide vaccines, flea/tick treatment, de-wormer, microchips, and other services. The Wellness Clinic is located at 57 North Champlain Street in Burlington. The Spay/Neuter Clinic is located at 142 Kindness Court in South Burlington. Reduced pricing options are available for community members with limited income (income guidelines listed at hsccvt.org/clinic). The Community Pet Clinic is not a full service veterinary clinic and cannot provide care for emergency situations.
