Provides courses in adult CPR, infant and child CPR; first aid basics; and CPR re-certification. Also provides classes in basic child care, water safety, and lifeguard certification. Offered online and sometimes at local sites.

Provides professional development training for early care and education providers to learn about children’s language and early literacy development and fun, instructive, and engaging ways to share books with children. Participants receive free books suitable for use with newborns, toddlers and preschoolers. Programs are conducted statewide by experienced early childhood professionals. Trainings are four hours (two sessions of 2 hours each). Trainings may be on hold due to COVID.

Offers support and training for registered child care providers and for staff of licensed child care centers. Services include new provider orientation, visits, newsletters, workshops, annual conference, lending library, curriculum resources, and a support line.
