Provides information about what vaccines are needed and for whom and suggests age-appropriate immunization schedules. Also provides information about vaccines and preventable diseases, the availability of vaccines in the United States, vaccine side effects, and vaccine safety.

Informs the public about the public health concerns related to the risks of exposure to potentially toxic chemicals from vaping products – including nicotine, arsenic, lead and formaldehyde. Warns the public about e-cigarette use to deliver substances for which they weren’t designed, like marijuana or other products that may come from unknown sources, which can make them more harmful. Also provides information about proper disposal (battery removal) of e-cigarettes/vaping devices

Provides the public with an emergency alert messaging service via mobile phone, land line, text, and e-mail. Alerts include information about disasters, weather advisories, fire advisories, traffic bulletins, road closures bulletins, Amber Alerts, product safety alerts, hazardous materials advisories, and public health notifications. Individuals are able to choose receipt of alerts for the entire state or for specific areas within Vermont that they wish to be contacted about, such as their home locations, their relatives' home locations and their places of employment. Provides ongoing, up-to-date information about national and international public health occurrences such as extreme weather events, contagious disease outbreaks, and natural disaster information.
