Provides services and programs for victims of crime, which includes informing victims about their rights, offender status, safety planning, and wrap-around services. Offers assistance to victims participating in the offender release process or parole board hearings, reviews requests for victims concerning offender contact, and referrals to community support resources such as support groups and counseling. Programs include the Victim-Offender Dialogue Program, providing the opportunity for victims who are interested, to meet with the offender; and the Apology/Accountability Letter Bank, where all apology letters by offenders to victims are held until the victim requests them.
