Provides individual and family counseling, individual and family crisis intervention services, family mediation, and short-term temporary emergency shelter in family homes that are made available by volunteer shelter parents. Does NOT provide an onsite shelter. Individuals or families unable to pay fees will not be turned away. Counseling can be arranged to take place at the Elevate's office in Berlin, at area schools, in family homes, or at other appropriate locations.

Compass works with youth and their families to make a plan of care that will assist them in accomplishing their goals. Youth meet with a case manager approximately once a week. If a youth's family is available for services, they will have the opportunity to work with Compass' Family Preservation Specialist around normal adolescent development, verbal de-escalation techniques, mediation, and other approaches. Provides crisis management for enrolled clients and families 24 hours a day through a pager. There is a rotating staff member on call at all times.

Provides shelter, clothing, food, and an individualized program to reintegrate veterans into the community and help them to achieve self-sufficiency. The program also assists any Veteran, whether or not they are homeless, with VA health care applications, obtaining military records, and laundry. Dodge House invites veterans to drop in any time they are open. Not an emergency shelter, application process for transitional housing can take time

Provides emergency shelter, safety, and basic needs. Participants also receive information about resources as they develop a plan to address their immediate needs. Success in this program may lead to a spot in Spectrum's Transitional Housing Program at Pearl Street.

Provides funding for a transitional housing program. The program partners with 18 community providers, including non-profits, community justice centers, and municipalities, to provide the capacity of approximately 250 beds/apartments statewide. Also provides reentry services to inmates prior to release.
Provides a confidential crisis hotline and online services to call, chat, or email. Offers solution-focused crisis intervention, referrals to local resources, education, and prevention assistance for youth and families. Services include youth-initiated Conference Calls, which facilitates a call between the youth and their family or a helping agency; Home Free, which offers a free bus ticket home or to an alternate living arrangement; and Message Service, which takes messages from parents that the National Runaway Safeline (NRS) will deliver to the youth if they choose to call the hotline to check for messages. Individuals may also post on the online forum. For Home Free, youth under age 18 can only return to a parent or legal guardian, which may include a non-custodial parent, sibling age 21 or older, or an extended family member, such as aunt or uncle. If parents call asking for help in finding their kids, National Runaway Safeline can refer them to local police departments and national organizations such as National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for additional support.

Provides transitional housing program for individuals and families who are at risk of becoming homeless or who are homeless in order to increase their level of self-sufficiency and ultimately transition from homelessness to permanent housing. The housing is drug-free and alcohol-free. An income is not required, but residents with an income may have to pay 30% of their income towards housing costs. Residents are expected to participate in training, education, and/or employment programming.
Provides a rental subsidy program in support of acquisition and maintenance of stable, adequate housing. Program participants must receive case management from an approved services provider. Applicants must complete a review process. Registration with Coordinated Entry is required to participate in the program.
