Helps residents apply for 3SquaresVT, School Breakfast and Lunch, WIC and other food assistance programs. Offers nutrition education and activities to persons eligible for 3SquaresVT. Acts as advocate for food stamp issues. Distributes Farm to Family coupons and Senior Farmers Market coupons, which can be used to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables at participating farmers markets in Vermont. Farm to Family Coupon Application and Distribution (first come, first served): is on the first week day in July. Coupons can only be redeemed at staffed farmstands, coupons can not be left at unstaffed farmstands that utilize a drop box.

Provides small, limited community food services. Residents encouraged to take what they need and/or donate what they can in support of the pantry. The little free pantry is located behind the church, next to the parking lot. It is easily accessible for people to drive up to, it is in a fairly private location at the back of the church. It is stocked often and year round. Non-perishable food and personal hygiene items are both included.

Provides community food shelf services, including menstruation supplies and pet food. Personal care items may be available depending on donations. Also provides Thanksgiving Baskets and extra holiday-type items before the holiday for Christmas. Food shelf is attached to Saint John's Episcopal Church. Sign-ups for Thanksgiving food baskets start in mid-October and are distributed the Monday before Thanksgiving. For Christmas, there are extra holiday-type items available throughout the month of December.

Provides monthly take-away fresh produce and healthy groceries, as well as information/recipes for meal preparation using the fresh produce being given away at each distribution. This fresh food access program is offered in partnership with the Vermont Food Bank. Community members may "shop" on behalf of seniors and individuals with disabilities who are unable to physically participate.

Provides limited financial assistance to individuals and families in need, for expenses that include vehicle fuel, rent, heat, food, and electricity and other utilities. Assistance is dependent upon adequate funding. Provides payment directly to service providers. May also provide gas and food vouchers. Service providers will be contacted to verify payment status.

Provides a drop-in community center that offers opportunities to socialize and to access support for help with acquiring supported employment, access to education and housing, peer support, and opportunities to explore holistic health and wellness. Also provides packed meals to go. During the winter months, the center offers extended hours to provide a warm space for individuals to congregate until the overnight shelter opens its doors.

Administers the USDA Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). Program participants receive a box of nutritious foods along with nutrition information once a month. Food must be picked up from local distribution site. Commodities packages are delivered to many locations statewide for pick up. A proxy form can be filed to authorize a friend or family member to pick up.
