MENTORING PROGRAM | CONNECTABILITIES

Provides matching services and one-to-one support between community volunteers and individuals. Activities may include attending social activities, running errands, and spending time together. Advocates may also act as spokespersons, assisting with housing, employment, legal, medical or other needs.

Connectabilities, (formerly known as Orleans County Citizen Advocacy) is a non-profit organization that matches volunteer community members and individuals with developmental disabilities with the goal of their developing life-long friendships. They support the development of the relationship as the volunteer, "Advocate", and the individual with a developmental disability, "Partner", get to know one another.
