Application process

By Telephone: GMP customers MUST contact Main Office at SEVCA as soon as they receive the disconnect notice and make arrangements BEFORE the first possible shut-off notice date (found on disconnect notice); May be applied for once per calendar year

Eligibility

200% of Poverty Level and customer served by GMP; Community Action agencies determine eligibility; Persons already on the GMP Energy Assistance Program (EAP) are not eligible

SEVCA (Southeastern Vermont Community Action) is a regional community action agency that provides a variety of core services in the two-county communities it serves, including emergency support and assistance for low-income families and individuals in crisis. Other services include case management services, emergency fuel assistance, homeless prevention assistance, weatherization, emergency home repair, small business development, budget counseling, income tax preparation, and Windsor County Head Start programs.
