HOPELINE | CONNECTING HOPE

Provides a telephone helpline that assists individuals with connecting to available resources in their communities. Hopeline volunteers offer moral support, encouragement, and Christian prayer and works on behalf of callers to find the support they need. They will make follow-up calls to be sure the need expressed was met, inquire about current well-being, and offer additional encouragement and assistance. Hopeline program is provided by a network of partner Christian churches working together to meet the needs of Central Vermonters who might otherwise fall through the cracks of supports for a variety of reasons.

CONNECTING HOPE

Connecting Hope is a non-profit inter-faith organization made up of a network of partner Christian churches working together to meet the needs of Central Vermonters who might otherwise fall through the cracks of supports for a variety of reasons. Services include the provision of the "HOPELINE", a telephone point of access for individuals and families in need of assistance related to food, transportation, budgeting, mentorship/social support, home repairs, clothing, job searches, and more.
