Collection is maintained by the Vermont Consortium for Adoption and Guardianship and may include the following topics: private adoption, adoption through child welfare, kinship, talking with your children about adoption, transracial/transcultural adoptions, developmental trauma, and others. Easterseals Vermont provides assistance, primarily through the Department for Children and Families, to foster parents, birth parents, and kinship parents who are struggling to provide guidance and support to children who bear the emotional and behavioral scars of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse.
