Provides citizenship education classes that prepare individuals to take the oath of U.S. citizenship. Citizenship courses help immigrants develop an understanding of and appreciation for American culture, institutions and ideals; and focus on important events in U.S. history, the Constitution and its historic background, and the organization, powers and duties of federal, state and local governments.

US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants Vermont, the Vermont field office of the non-profit USCRI, provides support services for asylees, refugees, and immigrants, including special immigrant visa holders, and certain humanitarian parolees throughout Vermont. Supports include refugee resettlement, refugee employment services, legal services, case management, English language training, interpreting services, health and wellness, and other American life skills support services.
