The service provides streamlined coordination to ensure that rather than being placed on multiple waiting lists, people are quickly channeled to providers with open capacity or short wait times. A Community Access Specialist not only guides families seeking therapy to available providers, but if an available match cannot be immediately found, the Community Access Specialist will support families by phone throughout the waiting period. The Community Access Specialist can provide details such as providers' contact information, mental health treatment specialties, fee for service, insurances accepted and/or payment options, etc.
