Description

Provides older residents with daily check-in calls from a dispatcher. If no answer after repeated calls, and the recipient has not previously indicated being away, a listed first responder or a law enforcement officer will be dispatched to check on the individual. Must live alone, or if with another person, that person is unable to help in an emergency; Must not be in regular daily contact with another person. This service does not take the place of, or interfere with, Lifeline, Lifephone, or similar personal emergency services. Applications are available at the Police Department, online, or call a dispatcher for eligibility information.
