MILEAGESMART | CAPSTONE COMMUNITY ACTION

Provides up to $5,000 for 25% of the cost of a used fuel-efficient car. Requires participants to take the MileageSmart Skills Workshop. Program lists lenders who offer low-interest vehicle loans for fuel-efficient cars. Eligible cars are rated at 40 MPG or higher. Vehicles cannot be purchased from private individuals. Limited to one registered vehicle per licensed driver.
