Provides information and assistance to help consumers self-advocate about utility issues, and provides a form for consumers to file complaints against regulated utility companies and billing or service related to unregulated broadband and wireless companies. Services may include information and education about how to address and resolve problems. Will also investigate, track, and attempt to resolve complaints by consumers against unregulated services such as broadband, wireless, cable modem, and Voice-Over Internet Protocol (VOIP).

The Vermont Department of Public Service is a state government agency that provides public advocacy, planning, programs, and other actions in response to Vermont consumers' needs for energy, telecommunications and regulated utility systems.
