SPAY THE MOM | RUTLAND COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY
Provides a free "Spay the Mom Program" to mom dogs and cats. After weaning their litters, all offspring are surrendered to the Humane Society. Appointments are made at local veterinarians for spays and vaccinations (rabies and distemper) for the mother. The offspring are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations etc. and adopted to new families.
