Description

Accepts donated vehicles, performs repairs when appropriate, and awards vehicles to low-income qualifying individuals. Donors receive a tax deduction. Higher value vehicles, vehicles requiring expensive maintenance, and vehicles which are not repairable are still accepted for donation but sold at auction to support the costs of the program. Cash donations to support the program are also accepted.

Good News Garage Vermont (GNG) is a faith-based, non-profit organization that accepts donated cars, trucks, and vans from anywhere in Vermont, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and parts of New York. GNG repairs vehicles and awards them to qualified low-income working people. The program also offers shuttle rides to qualified riders.
